(12) Where is Guido?

A few days later I went out looking for Guido. I had went searching for him the previous day,but with no luck.

I started to get really worried and my stomach was in knots.

I then went searching by the beach. But didn't find him. All I found was Ercole and Ciccio. I sighed and walked over to them.

Ciccio smiled as soon as he saw me. "Ciao (y/n)!" He and waved frantically with a smile. "Hey Ciccio." I said back with a light smile. He bit his tongue and grinned.

Ercole saw me and rolled his eyes. "What do you want cosa fastidiosa?" Ercole asked as he placed his elbow on his hand. (cosa fastidiosa means you annoying thing)

"Hello to you too Ercole." I said teasing him. He sighed a annoyed sigh and rolled his eyes once again.

"So uh,what are you guys doing?" I asked. I noticed that there was goggles and ciccio's hair was wet. There was also half eaten bowls of spaghetti And a bike.

"None of your business." Ercole said. Ciccio walked over to me. "We're training for the portorosso cup." Ciccio whispered. "Ciccio!" Ercole exclaimed. "What?!" Ciccio answered.

"Ohhh yeah! I totally forgot about that." I said. "Ercole. I still think your too old to do this." I said. "stai zitto!" Hw yelled back. (stai zitto means shut up)

"This years,there having a extra course that you can get extra money for!" Ciccio told me. "Really? What's the extra course?" I asked. "Running." Ciccio answered. "How much money do you get if you win?" I asked. "$500!" Ciccio answered excitedly. "Wow! That's way more money then when I last was here!" I said in amazement.

"Now! Why did you come and bother us?" Ercole asked as he walked up to me. "Oh yeah! I was wondering if you guys have seen Guido anywhere." I told them.

Ercole laughed. "Like I care." He said and walked off. "Ciccio! Andiamo! Get back to work!" Ercole demanded. "Ok!" Ciccio yelled back. He then grabbed my shoulder and pulled me aside.

"Guido is in the hospital. He's been there since yesterday. I don't know what's wrong,but it's something bad." He told me with a worried look.

My heart sunk,and my face went pale. "Ok. Thank you Ciccio!" I said as I hugged him. I then ran to the portorosso hospital.
