The Test (Part 2)

I got dressed into my grey blazer and green skirt, brushed my hair and teeth. Forgetting breakfast I ran out the door into my dads car where he was waiting. Today was my first day as a U.A. High student, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared but I had a good feeling about 1-A.

I realised I forgot breakfast and quickly created some toast from the palm of my hand and ate it all before we arrived. I walked through the familiar halls and ducked inside principal Nezu's office to say a quick hello to him and midnight who were currently talking. After that I made my way to my classroom and saw a green haired boy standing outside the door, clearly nervous to start the day.

I walk up and say hello, slightly startling him before he responded.

"You don't have to be nervous, I have a feeling these people are really nice!"

"O-okay."

I opened the door and everyone turned their heads towards me and the boy behind me. I scanned the room and noticed the park boy scowling at the boy behind me.

"DEKU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

"U-uhm well I-I'm in this class, Kacchan."

"And you the park girl what are you doing here?"

"I go here, obviously dude!"

I turn and is met by an adorable pink girl and she introduces herself as Mina Ashido with her quirk being acid. I tell her my name and say that she'll find out my quirk soon enough.

We all sit in our seats as we wait for Mr. Aizawa to come in. I sit in-front of Bakugo, he responded with a growl and incoherent mumbling. I lightly giggled at his reaction, finding it quite adorable.

*Flashback*

"You aren't to tell anyone I'm looking after you, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah okay."

"I won't be giving you any special treatment either just because you're like my daughter doesn't mean you can slack off, okay kid?"

"Yeah I got it and I wouldn't slack off even if you told me too."

*Flashback over*

The door opens and Aizawa in his yellow sleeping bag comes into the room telling everyone that they took too long and they weren't here to make friends.

I could already tell that we weren't going to the orientation today because that's just how dad teaches. He steps out of the sleeping bag and takes out the sports uniform and tells everyone to get changed and meet him on the sports field for a quirk test.

When everyone makes it outside Mr. Aizawa is holding a softball in his hands. "Usually when your growing up your not allowed to use your quirks in physical tests because everyone is made equal in the world, but we're not. This type of thinking puts you at a disadvantage when you train to become pros!"

"Bakugo you scored first in the entrance exam right?-" my ears perked up at the name of the person who beat me and when the park boy spoke up I wasn't surprised with a quirk like his it would of been easier then most to get 76 points.

When Bakugo through the ball with his quirk Aizawa held up the phone to display his score '705.3 metres'. Everyone looked in astonishment at the powerful boy but he only looked at one person.

You. The only person who wasn't staring at him but conversing with Mr. Aizawa.

The first test was the 50m dash, I controlled the earth underneath my feet and the air around my body to make me run faster, my time was 4.24 seconds.

The second test was grip strength and I used life force to power up my body which cause my skin, eyes and hair to glow gold and float. It only ended up being 138.9kg.

3rd test was an easy standing long-jump and I cleared the sandbox. Bakugo still beat me and it was quite frustrating that I couldn't win against him.

The 4th test was repeated side-steps, I used my quirk creation to create bouncy walls beside me to have a high score.

The 5th test ended up being the ball throw, I manipulated the air around the softball and threw it 688.4m my classmates were pretty impressed that I was so skilled. Aizawa ended up canceling Midoriya's quirk because it hurt him too much and he should find a way to not injure himself or else he'd be useless in a battle. He ended up throwing it pretty far and only breaking his index finger.

The 6th test was a distance run where I just transformed into a cheetah and came 1st place, just beating Iida by a by a hair.

The last 2 tests I didn't need to use my quirks because I would place well without them. When Mr. Aizawa showed the results of the tests, he mentioned how no one would be expelled. I came in 4th behind Bakugo, only fuelling my frustration but I decided it'd be good to congratulate him on coming third.

When I walked over to him he turned and his crimson eyes glared daggers into mine, he began yelling that it wouldn't be so close next time and that he'd leave me in the dust. I chuckled and responded with a simple okay before walking off, leaving him shocked that I didn't declare war back at him.

I went and talked to Momo and Mina when they both complimented me on how I did in the test, of course I did the same to them both because Momo came in 1st and Mina came in 9th.

The rest of the day was pretty normal and the dismissal bell soon rang, Aizawa told me that I'd have to wait for him take me home today since he had to talk to principal Nezu. I was waiting outside of the school when I saw Bakugo walking home with his headphones in. He noticed me and walked over, he started talking about how it's rude to stare at people and that this was the 2nd time I was staring at him. He decided to tease me about having a crush on him to which I responded with

"No you just seem upset at the world so I guess we're similar in a way Baku-"

"Y/N let's go already."

"Okay. Bye Bakugo!" I turned and waved at him and saw that he was shocked at my thoughts.

He thought to himself as he turned his music back on and walked home.

'What would you know about hating the world.'
