"I'm not pregnant stop saying that" I said smacking my teeth
"I hate to break it to you bestie but..." Chelly trailed off
She passed me the pregnancy test I just took and there it was. The two blue lines that I prayed to not be there.
"No...no...no" I mumbled
"Best whats wrong?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows
"I can't be pregnant right now."
"Whyyy I want a niece" she groaned
"Chell, Rakim and I only been together for like what?6 months. I wanted to be married when I had my second kid. Shits already fucked up with me and Sid and I don't wanna put another kid through that" I said
"I understand what you saying but I definitely can see you and Rah lasting. Y'all are good for each other." She said
"I hope so... oh yea I gotta tell you something" I said biting the inside of my cheek
"What?"
"Seven got a birthday gift from Sid" I said
"Bitch WHAT?!" She yelled sitting up
"Sid sent Seven a gold bracelet for his birthday"
"How? What the fuck?!" She yelled
"I don't know Chelle that's what I was trying to figure out." I said huffing
"That's weird as fuck. You think Dell had something to do with it?"
"I don't know but I'm not fucking with Dell no more. Nothing against him but I can't trust him for the simple fact that his bestfriend is Sid" I said
"Well bitch we not playing with they ass. We ain't get them gun licenses for nothing" she said
"Exactly"
I looked at the time and realized it's my day to go check on Zy. I told Chelly I would see her later and left her apartment. I drove to Zy place and they stopped me at the lobby.
"Um sorry ma'am can I see your ID?" The man at the front desk said
"For what? Y'all never ask for ID?" I said furrowing my eyebrows
"New policies. If you don't live here you must show ID to go to residential floors"
Damn I thought my apartment was top flight security.
"Okay" I mumbled going to my wallet.
I pulled out my ID and showed it to him. He gave it back to me and I got on the elevator. Once I got to Zy floor I put in his door keypad and walked in.
