Chapter 37

7pm Monday February 27th 2017

Leni had arrived at Cassie's about 2 hours ago, when she arrived Cassie wasn't home yet but Leni being her best friend had the spare key and was able to let herself in. Leni started to make dinner around 6:45 when Cassie still wasn't home, after raiding the fridge and pantry Leni was able to find the ingredients to make sausage rolls.

Cassie walked through the door and was able to smell food cooking which confused her a bit, walking to the kitchen she saw her best friend making dinner.

"Hey Len" Cassie greeted putting her bag in the bench

"Hey Cass" She responded putting the sausage rolls in the oven

"I'm gonna go get changed" Cassie said walking away, she came back a couple minutes later in trackies and a hoodie like Leni and taking a seat at the kitchen bench

"Alright I'm glad your here, but why?" Cassie asked very bluntly

"Okay promise you won't get mad at me" Leni spoke

"Promise" Cassie assured her

"Okay so I have a boyfriend" Leni began to say before getting interrupted

"Bitch What! Since when?" Cassie asked bursting with excitement

"Since the 20th so a week ago" Leni told her

"Damn girl, wait who?" Cassie questioned looking at her expectedly

"Okay so um it's Patrick Cripps" Leni blurted out

"Holy shit, go you, you got a footy captain I mean you're hot so it makes sense" Cassie exclaimed

"I thought you'd get mad at me" Leni murmured

"Nah it's good, is it like a secret relationship" Cassie asked

"Okay I'm going to explain it all"

"Alright begin" Cassie laughed leaning forward slightly

"So it was a secret relationship I only told my mum, Jo and Nonna and he told his brothers I'm pretty sure, but he was at the apartment earlier and we made a cake, I put it in the oven and then we kissed well it was more of a make out but then Jack, Ben and Tom walked in in us kissing and Jack  chucked a hissy fit and we're currently in an argument because he doesn't want me dating him. We blew up on each other before I left and I came here like 2 hours ago" Leni rambled

"Oh fuck Jack! Do what makes you happy but does this mean dinner tomorrow is gonna be really awkward?" Cassie asked

"Probably, but Uncle Steve and Nonno don't know yet so when Jack brings it up I'll just rip off the band-aid and tell them" Leni explained

"Okay I love Silvagni-Torelle drama" Cassie laughed

"Oh I know you do" Leni remarked

"How'd he ask you to be his girlfriend?" Cassie questioned eagerly as she changed the subject

"Well we were both bored so we went to Luna Park and on the Ferris wheel I kinda confessed my feelings and he did too then we kissed and went out for dinner and he asked be to be his girlfriend" Leni told her with a blush dusting her cheeks

"Aw that's cute, I need a boyfriend" Cassie complained "Or a girlfriend" She then added

"Yeah you really do, you're Bi meaning you have double the options but you're still single" Leni laughed

"Hush, I'll find someone eventually" Cassie said defending herself

"You could just adopt a bunch of cats and be a crazy cat lady" Leni suggested
