Plot/summary :
"Of course I love you," Harry said softer.
"You're mine, as I am yours. No one else could complement eachother as we do."
Tom smiled slightly, eyes crinkling at the edges. "True," he conceded.

Harry tried talking about his thoughts to his friends, but they brushed him off.
"Honestly, Harry." Hermione rolled her eyes. "So what? He's a murderer."
"I know... it's just..."
"Hermione's right, mate." Ron broke in. "Leave it."
Harry shut his mouth and said nothing, feeling the sting of their rebuttal.
Something in him ached for the poor orphaned child he had seen in the pensive.

And Voldemort could feel it. He felt every moment, just as Harry probably did. At the time, it was like it was actually real.
Like they had been in love for years, and were happy together.
It physically hurt, when he realised in the morning that it wasn't true.
That it didn't exist.
They weren't in love now, and likely never would be.
Who could love someone like him?
