We were driving for quite a long time, towards to outskirts of New York, and that was when it clicked, the beach. We were heading towards the beach, now everything else made sense. 'obviously it was the beach, you are one dumb bitch aurora' my subconscious budged into my head to make me feel dumb once again.
Not long after coming to senses that we were going to the beach, Adrian stopped and parked the car by to coast side where you are able to see the beach from. "hold on a second," Adrian's deep voice interrupted my thoughts. He got out of the car and headed towards my side, as he opened the door for me and stuck his hand out for me to grab. Maybe he wants to hold my hand as much as I have been dying to hold his. 'or maybe he just did not want you to trip over your own two feet.'

I grabbed onto his hand as we slowly walked towards to beach in a comfortable silence, just enjoying how the cool breeze brushed upon my face making my hair sway gently left and right. As we got closer, I noticed a lay out done which caused me to stay in shock and halt in my steps making Adrian turn around and raise an eyebrow at me. Something I am unable to do even after 21 years of living. "Like what you see?" he asked cockily knowing that he had done amazing. "I love it, thank you Adrian." I replied with a smile on my face and went on my tiptoes to give a light peck on his cheek. Noticing a blush creeping onto his cheek not long after him looking away and giving a loud cough. If I am not wrong, when we first played 21 questions together, he had asked me how my dream date would play out and now he had accomplished it perfectly with his own twist here and there making it absolutely perfect.
Slowly walking towards the laid out picnic he had set up, I noticed that he had taken note of everything I had said throughout our time together. He had laid out my favorite food, sushi as well as a bunch of desserts I remembered mentioning how much I loved to him.

If I had not mention yet, I have a weird obsession over cookies. Like I would go batshit crazy if you stole my cookies, honestly I would go crazy on you if you stole anything food related. As if I would share my food with you, go get your own bitch.

Adrian and I started having light conversations as we ate, i caught him just staring at me in a daze multiple times making me blush like crazy. As we finished eating, he suddenly got up and took off his shirt then running towards the ocean and jumping in. If I was not caught off guard with his gorgeous body, I probably would have joined along with him. 'but damn that body.' and that ladies and gents was when I first agreed with my subconscious.
"Amore, come join me, I am feeling lonely in here without you" he shouted towards me with a huge smile on him face. I burst out in laughter as I watched him pout as I did not move from my position. I got up and took off my dress before running towards the ocean myself, not missing the fact that I felt his eyes roaming across my body.

It was when Adrian and I started splashing each other with water when he came towards me and and embraced me in his huge arms that gave me warmth and security making me feel every inch of his chest. That was when the giggles went silent and it was just him and I, it felt like nothing else in the universe mattered other than us as I looked into his grey eyes filled with adoration. For me. And that was when it happened. He hand slowly reached towards my chin and held it up as he tilted his head to the side when it slowly made it's way towards my face. "you are so beautiful amore, don't let anyone tell you otherwise" he hot mint breath gently brushed across my rosy cheeks.
That was when his soft lips captured mine.
