Chapter 43

Days passed like a swift of wind. Myself and Aadit had lot of misunderstandings but everytime I had to give up or just forgive hoping it doesn't happen again. The event which we organized was a great hit and I started participating in many events and competitions in my final year. But every time I tell Aadit about an event the only response I get would be a huge 'NO'. But still I always had a chase for exposure which would help me build my career.

I was very sure that I wasn't doing anything wrong as my mom and dad would have corrected me if I was doing anything wrong. I always had their support in all my works so I was very confident that I was going on the right path.

As it was final year, I started preparing for my final year exams as well as for the campus interviews. As usual, Aadit was not interested in my idea of going to a IT field but I was strong in my decision.

I started attending interviews as well as taking care of my studies on one side. My final exams have been approaching and I started preparing for them.

Only then, I received a notification on my mobile.

*I never expected this from you, your a cheater. You cheated me, I have never seen a girl as disloyal as you*

The message read. My heart stopped for a moment. It was a text from Aadit.

What's happening??

Why is he speaking like that??

What mistake did I do?? I have never even thought of cheating him in my life.

I call him immediately and he answers

"Aadit, what's wrong?? I can't understand why are you talking like this" I ask him.

"Just shut up, enough of your acting. I have trusted you enough and thats why you have given me a such big gift now" he says and I just dont know what to say.

"This is the reason, I always said no whenever you wanted go out. I know you would definitely cheat me with that idiot" he yells.

"What are you talking about, Aadit. I cant even understand, what the the hell are you talking" I yell back as tears roll down my cheeks.

He cant speak this way to me. At least he needs to tell me about the issue but speaking like this is not fair.

"I didn't know that you would be this kind of a girl, how dare you cheat me with that Karthick" he says and I stand dumbstruck.

What???

I have never even thought of something like that. Karthick is a friend, just a friend. Im very sure that even he thinks the same. There is nothing else more than that.

"What the hell are you speaking, Aadit?? You very well know, Karthick is just a friend" I say but he cuts in.

"Stop lying Akshara, Im aware of everything, hope you know Sania, your senior, she told me everything about you both. The way you both behave when you go for different events. I know this would happen one day. Just get lost " he says and hangs up the call.

I sit down on the bed crying. Im hurt and it mostly because of the way he spoke. How did he believe what she said. Doesn't he trust me then??

Just like that he believed what she said and he is speaking like this to me. I have never even stood close to Karthick when we go out for events,as  I know Aadit would create a scene.

But now, why did this Sania say something like this to him. She has said something which did even happen. What did I do to her??

I keep crying and suddenly I hear a knock on the door. I really dont want to face my parents now.
