I wanted more.

I craved more.

I just didn't want to lose you. Oh how I knew you didn't see me the way I saw you. The way my heart sped up as you glanced my way. The way I stuttered or my cheeks blushed cherry red when you teased me.

I knew... and it hurt.

But I was ok. As long as you were by my side then my cravings would stop. I didn't need the extra step because you were always standing right next to me protecting me.

So why did it all stop so suddenly?

One whole week. For one whole week you were gone.

It was like you disappeared and when you came back you had so many questions.

"Where's a good date to take a girl"?

"When I take a girl on a date is flowers a good gift or is that too cliché"?

"If I liked a girl would you be happy for me"?

"Of course I would"

I answered every question honestly.

I helped you absent mindedly, because you were my best friend. If you were happy, I was happy.
