Part 8

The wedding was beautiful.

Draken was next to me fidgeting.

He was nervous. Very nervous.

I turned around and put on my best smile.

"Hey stop worrying you look great and Emma is very lucky to have you".

Oh how lucky she was.

She didn't have to go through my pain.

But in all honesty, I was somewhat relieved that she didn't.

Before they got together she would rant about how Draken never noticed her. If that kept going she would have been gone a long time ago.

He smiled down at me and hugged me.

"Thanks, Y/n you're the bestest friend a guy could ever have".

I hugged him back and patted him on the back.

I walked away leaving him to his own thoughts while I put my journal on the gift table.

Emma came out looking beautiful in her long white dress.

I walked past her too.

It was like everything was happening in slow motion.

Emma turned around and called my name.

Draken was confused because he didn't know why I was leaving

Some members screamed about how I was crying and blood was dripping from my shirt.

It was all muffled. Not caring what anyone else had to say because they could not feel my pain as I walked away from everyone I cared about.

Tears stream down my face as I smile into the summer weather ready for the fate I set.

"Thank you for the memories".

"Thank you for your protection".

"Thank you for being there as long as you had".

"I'm happy for you I promise".
