As all the pups were getting ready to spend the night at jake's cabin but one pup was having issue trying to sleep. Everest had doubts about leading the team,o so she decided to head outside to think
Marshall: where did Everest go
Chase: I saw her go outside
Marshall: what why
Chase: I do not know
Marshall: I better check on her
Marshall quickly heads out to check on Everest
Skye: Well, we better we some rest
Chase: yea you get some rest. I'm waiting until they return to make sure
Skye: chase, you can stay up all night for them, and I won't be able to relax knowing you are putting yourself through that
Chase: I know but-
Skye: here (gets up and lays right next to him)
We both will stay here until we both fall asleep together or until they come back
Chase: Sure, that seems nice
Meanwhile
Everest:(speaks to herself) how can I lead? I don't know how too
What happens if I fail? What will the others think about me
As she was talking to herself, she heard footsteps out behind her
Everest: who there
Marshall: it's me, Everest
Everest: what are you doing out here
Marshall: I can ask you the same thing
Both stare at each other until Everest says what is on her mind
Everest: ugh, is that what if I can't lead the search
Marshall: what is that what you are worried about
Everest: yes, I am because I had never led a team before, let alone an entire search team
Marshall: Everest, you are overthinking it. Everything will be fine
Everest: how do you know, what if I make a mistake and what will the others think or worse
Marshall: worse?
Everest: what happens If I lead and someone gets hurt or what happens if I make a mistake and you get hurt because of it
Marshall see how stressed out Everest only knows one way to help
Marshall:(hugs Everest) it's ok, no matter what, because I will be with you every step of the way, and together will we be ok and will find this liver for you
Everest, after being embraced by marshall, quickly calmed down and felt safe when marshall paws around her
Everest: (blushing)wow, thank you, Marshall. I feel much better
Marshall and Everest are both staring right into each other eyes until marshal.
Marshall: so what do you want to do now
Everest: how about we stay here for a little bit
Marshal: sure
The two sit right next to each other, watching the full moon shine bright on them until Everest decides to rest her head on marshall's shoulder
Marshall: say how we head back for the night before it gets too late
Everst: aww ok let's go, race, yea
As she quickly ran back to the cabin
Marshall: hey, that's not fair
Everest: (giggling) well, you have to be faster
Once the two have reached the can in Everest, stop marshall for a second
Everest: thank you again for everything
Marshall: as I said, I will always be there for you
The two enter the cabin to see everyone has already fallen asleep but notice that chase and Skye had fallen asleep right next to each other, with Skye resting her head along with chases
Everest: well, look at those two
Marshall: Yeah, well, we better get some sleep so we will be ready for tomorrow
Everest: yeah, we should
The two try to fall asleep, but marshall notice every still having an issue with relaxing about tomorrow
Marshall: are you still unable to sleep
Everest: yea still a little nervous about tomorrow
Marshall: how about this? I stay right next to you until you sleep
Everest felt finally felt relaxed when Martha was lying right next to her and decided to snuggle him to help her sleep
Everest: thank you, Marshall
Marshal: (blushing) no problem anytime
The two eventually drift away into a relaxing slumber until the morning
The morning
Chase was the first up and saw how he fell asleep last night and decided to wake up skye
Chase: psst skye wake up
Skye: (yawns) morning chase.
Chase: morning skye, how did you sleep
Skye: I slept well (winks at him)thanks to you
Chase:(slight blushing) yeah, skye, no problem. Well, we have to wake up the other pups
As he is about to wake up the others, he notices Everest and Marshall snuggle right next to each other
Chase: aww, well, look like he did help her
Skye: Yeah, look at them well, we better wake everyone up
Chase: ruff megaphone, wake up, pups!
Chase: wait, has anyone seen Ryder and rocky
Rubble: no, we thought they were both here
Zuma: also were is an echo
Rubble: you don't think he took by himself to find the treasure
As he said that, they heard a loud sound coming outside the cabin and rubble, and Zuma headed out
Rubble: what is that
Zuma: uh dude, you might want to come out and see this
The rest of the pups quickly get up and head out to see what is outside
