"You still know me huh" he looked away and whispered lowly that you can barely even catch it

You looked at him in pure shock that he's there, right infront of you. After 5 years of thinking he's gone.

"Where have you been all this time? I thought-"

He glanced at you dead in the eyes clearly letting you know why he called you.

His appearance changed, he's no longer looking like some kid from the science lab that you can beat anytime.

You miss those eyes of him.. those eyes that would watch you while you're treating his wounds, those eyes that glares at you whenever you're being too loud at teasing him with his crush.

"Tetta~ what are you doing there?" You came out of your cram school and you saw your bestfriend outside waiting for someone.

You happily walked to him touched that he's concerned about you walking home at night.

"Is Hina there?" He asked making you frown

"No, she left early" you answered before walking away leaving him

"Wait for me" he ran to match your speed and held the other handle of yoyr bag to prevent you from walking away faster

"What do you need? Go home" you tried shrugging him off but he just held your bag tighter

"I can't... my brother's gonna kill me if he see me like this.." you looked back at him just now realizing that he's full of bruises and cuts

"Let me guess... you got into a fight again?" He nodded

"Yes, and they know you're my bestfriend so I'm taking you home. They might gang up on you instead" he walked ahead of you and pulled you by the strap of your bag.

"Oh- wait, it's bleeding" you stopped him and checked your bag for some bandaid you always keep in your bag for times like this.

"Stop getting yourself involved with gangs Tetta, It's not worth it." You reminded while putting the band aid on the cut near his lips.

He shook his head and smiled "You know it'll be worth it. It's all for Hina"

"Yeah... for Hina.. the pain are worth it." You walked away leaving him but he followed you

"There you go walking off again. I told you I'll take you home, it's dangerous." he pulled your bag and pulled you beside him

"You really like her huh?" His cold face turned into a warm one as he smile

"Yes, so much"

"What about me..." you mumbled but he heard it

"What about you?"
