Part 22:Dumbledore and rimuru talk

Rimuru and Ciel return to the room to be greeted by the others who waited for them

Rimuru:hey got some good news

Shuna:oh

Shuna being the first to react quickly asks what the news is and receives a reply

Shuna:so water and mermaids

Chloe:its probably that lake they have right

Shion:mmm but why mermaids

Rimuru:who knows they had a dragon I'm convinced that after mermaids will be gaint man eating slugs

Everyone reacts differently to this as they wish to discuss this further rimuru soon says that he would like to sleep for a bit so they all soon head to bed rimuru turns into his slime form as Ciel grabs him and holds him tightly not about to give him up

The next day

Rimuru in human form and in his old clothes with the blue coat walks out of the room as he id soon met by moody

Moody:tempest professor Dumbledore would like a word

Rimuru:joy

five minutes later

Rimuru stands in Dumbledores office

Rimuru:can I help you with something

Rimuru says this in a bored tone he truthfully does not want to be here yet here be is stuck in Dumbledores office wondering why he was called here

Rimuru:actually now that I think about it I've never been in here alone it feels welcoming but.... Something doesn't feel right about it.. On top of that this is the first time I've actually talked to the old man alone let's hope it goes well

Dumbledore:yes my dear boy I was wondering how you're finding every thing here

Dumbledore says this in his usual grandfatherly tone a twinkle in his eye that quickly Dissapears

Rimuru:why is this old man treating me like a kid

Ciel:report he has a attempted to gain access to your mind he was however unsuccessful

Rimuru glares at the old head master allowing him to know that his attempt to invade rimurus mind did not go unnoticed and it was not appreciated getting the feeling he should tread wisely he opens his mouth

Dumbledore:I simple wished to know the relationship between you and this Ciel a bit more with the two of you looking so similar I could not help but wonder

Rimuru:Ciel is my partner and no we are not related like so many people seem to think I've already told you this

A moving painting chooses this moment to let out a yell about rudeness and a need to treat the head master with more respect before Dumbledore calms them down

Dumbledore:of course though there is not anything to worry about for pure bloods marriage between family is a normal occurrence

Rimuru:..... I hate it here I really do next thing I'm going to be told is that people sometimes use house elfs for sex slaves I really really hate it here

Ciel:discrimination not only against other races but too half bloods and muggleborns as they call it,slaves, inbreading and a clear lack of advancements in technology and culture have I missed anything

Rimuru:no I think that's right

This conversation was had using thought acceleration as as Dumbledore looks up at rimuru

Dumbledore:tell me how is it you look so similar with out being related

Rimuru:I don't think that's any business of yours

Dumbledore:of course forgive my prying curiosity is a weak point of mine

Rimuru:mm

Dumbledore:that said have you managed to get a idea for the next task

Rimuru:I have to ask did you call me here for small talk

Rimuru is used to dealing with this type of thing but this world and now this old man just seem to set him off something about this old man reminds rimuru way to much of Yuki and clayman and maybe a bit of rudra as well

Rimuru:I have a idea of what it is but I need to come up with a plan

Rimuru says this with a hope that it will get him out of this office soon

Dumbledore:perhaps I could help

This appears to be the wrong thing to say as rimuru moved to his feet

Rimuru:instead of helping me help your actual student Cedric diggory he probably needs it more then me and he also actually goes to your school

Dumbledore looks around rimuru shocked by the sudden out burst

Dumbledore:I assure you that the other champions are more then capable of planning themselves

Rimuru:and I'm not

Dumbledore goes quite as rimuru narrows his eyes now the glare allowing half of his golden eyes to be seen a unnatural sight that actually frightens the old man

Rimuru:tell me something who was it that actually needed medical attention after that task a task you had helped to set up tell me the names of the students that could have died because you and the others in charge want to put on a good show even if your not in charge I'm sure you can pull something and make it safer

Dumbledore:I assure you the students were in no danger they were chained to the ground not to mention the ones stationed to handle things if they happen to get away

Rimuru:oh im sure but tell me can your safety measures account for everything

Dumbledore looks at rimuru as he says this nodding his head after he finishes

Dumbledore:yes of course forgive me I'll let you go now I apologize but if I may as you said you do not go to this school... That means certain places are allowed to you that are not allowed to students

Rimuru turns and leaves as with one final look to Dumbledore who let's his head hang slightly Dumbledore sighs that boy is far from what i originally hoped for while he does seem to care he is also far more intelligent then I thought he would be but that doesn't matter Dumbledore needs rimuru to defeat Tom Riddle taking a lemon drop Dumbledore puts it in his mouth letting the taste fill his mouth

Meanwhile rimuru returns to his room annoyance clear on his face

Rimuru:I miss Gazel no not just that I miss my home

Even with this world being his original one he doesn't really feel at home here in truth rimuru really just wants to go back to his city he hasn't really gotten to be in his slime form here save for the bath last night and when he sleeps

Diablo:rimuru sama

Rimuru perks up looking to the side rimuru sees Diablo there a table that wasn't there before and tea made with seats Ciel is already in one thinking its better to not ask where the table came from rimuru sits down and enjoy the scent of the tea before he takes a sip not knowing when the next task will happen is a problem he'll need to figure out on top of that rimuru is worried about his city all this goes through rimurus mind

Rimuru:diablo

Diablo perks up bearing his name called

Rimuru:where are the others

Diablo:they wished to be of more use to you and have gone dealing any knowledge about when the task will take place

Rimuru smiles at this those guys he's lucky to have them and from the looks of it veldora went to letting out a slight chuckle rimuru thinks about the amount of manga veldora will ask for after he gets back with one final sigh rimuru finishes his tea quickly before standing up

Rimuru:Diablo, Ciel why don't we go look for information as well

Getting nods the three make their way out of the room
