LIYAH SAT ON THE LEDGE on top of the apartment building. She had no intention of jumping, all though her destructive thoughts said other wise. It was two in the morning and she'd only been up here for about thirty minutes.
Just thinking.
Nothing specifically. What ever popped up really, tending to get lost in her head. So going on top of the building was a great distraction. Looking down at all the city lights and midnight life of brooklyn.
To say Liyah was lucky that she didn't live in Chicago anymore, too much happened over there. It was too violent where she lived. Brooklyn wasn't bad, it was new because she wasn't use to the setting but glad she lives in a more safer environment.
She stayed out the way and really didn't have a lot of friends. Bitches are weird. Accepting that awhile ago when she got tired of people taking her niceness as a weakness. She was close to her older sister but she was away at community college, not seeing her a lot these days. Keeping good contact though.
