It's been weeks since we parted from the border. My mind is still having trouble wrapping itself around the fact that we can never see each other again.
I keep myself busy round the clock with the things I do but when I pause, my thoughts are all about her. Is she well? Is she eating on time? How is her family treating her?
And now, here I am again in this rundown shack, reliving our last conversation in this very place weeks ago.
"If I await desperately with prayers, will I be able to see someone I miss?"
You do it to live. If you give up on waiting, the pain of loss will kill you. That's why you wait.
I miss her. Desperately.
That's why I'll wait. Why I am still waiting. And will keep on waiting if it is the last thing I do.

One of my ten nice words to the tomato plant which I eventually took back.
Then, a kite for me meant I wanted to fly away. Get away from everything. To not be tied down to anything. Freedom.
But today, this kite gave me hope. A sign .
Did you see the kite, too, Seri? Or is it you flying the kite?
I wouldn't put it past her to pull a trick like this to try to reach me. In fact, why didn't I even think of doing just that?!?
We are living under the same sky! We are connected by an invisible string called fate.
The hours passed and it is night time once again. After that shocking confession of Manbok, I went outside to get a breath of fresh air and gather my thoughts.
It is then that I saw a familiar object stuck on a tree. Her kite is here.
