She was flustered as they began to clean the room together. "I can't believe you have so much crap in your room."
He smiled "How the hell would I actually know that you seriously chose to help me with this stuff. I thought you were bluffing when you said you will help me clearing my room."
Shaking her head she patted his head "You don't know me at all yet you claim to know me inside out." She snorted "Mr. Fekuchand"
"Haan and you are Sachchi ki Devi..correct." He rolled his eyes at her sarcastically. "..as if you have never hid anything from me."
His words stopped her in her track. Rohan looked up only to find a flustered Anjali staring back at him. He immediately rushed towards her "What happened love.."
She nodded negative as she tried to move past him but Rohan stopped her "Anjali..what's wrong.."
"Nothing..I was suddenly reminded of something." She looked down.
"Don't.." he kissed her forehead. "I am not interested in that..you know that.."
"Your denial won't change my past Rohan."Anjali leaned towards his chest. "I do have a past..even if it's unrequited..but I do.."
"I don't care Anjali.." he took her in his warm embrace.
She looked up "Why.."
"Because I am your present who will become your future. Simple." He smiled which made her smile too. "Past will always be a part of your life. We can't change that. But Your Past will only remain Your Past. I can assure you that."
"I don't regret anything about it Rohan." She replied honestly "..but have to admit I wish we would have met before."
"Don't worry. I plan to completely make up for the time we lost." He winked at her.
"Yeah..and let's begin with cleaning this mess up.."she winked back making him scowl "Pyaar ke papad ka churan kaise banate hai koi aapse seekhe Janeman.."
She couldn't hold herself back from laughing as she hit him gently against his chest "Let's get back to our Swachch Flat Abhiyan..come on..handle me that jhadoo..and pick that pochcha from there.."
"Ji memsab.." he nodded.
They both got back to cleaning the room as they both were excited to celebrate their first Diwali together.
