'Keep your head, heels, and standards high' - Coco Chanel

'I love you, Sage Evans' - James Potter
'I love you, James Potter' - Sage Evans
Summary: Lily Evans was never the favourite twin. That was always Sage. She was the child everyone wanted, the girl who everyone wanted to be friends with. So when James Potter chose Lily, she was ecstatic. Until her sister, who had opted to go to Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts, turned out to be switching schools in their third year. Then James loved her, much more than he ever loved Lily. It's now their fifth year and Sage, as well as her friends Marlene and Emmeline, is fed up with James, who she has deemed 'her personal stalker'. She continues to end up hanging out with the boys after Marlene starts dating Sirius, using muggle quotes in almost every situation and eventually, when James starts using wizarding quotes, they bond over it.
Notes:
It should be a thing that Sage doesn't look like Lily, for example, in a prologue of when she arrives at the start of third year, Sirius should comment 'How is she your sister? She's so... different from you?!'. Or something like that.
Sage, Marlene and Emmeline should all be in Gryffindor as well
They shouldn't like Severus
Some optional scenarios for the quotes in the description are:
Sophia Loren - Maybe at the start of year feast
Susan Cain - when Emmeline is upset because the girl she likes is dating someone else
Mae West - when James is shocked at how good she is at planning the prank for Snape the girls are helping plan and pull off
Coco Chanel - Another thing for Emmeline, maybe?
Katherine Hepburn - when pulling the prank on Snape
Marilyn Monroe - another for pulling the prank on Snape?
It's your choice if Lily and Sage make up but if you don't want them to, then a possible thing you could have is Lily telling Sage that if she didn't give up James for Lily to have him, they couldn't be sisters anymore and ultimately, Sage chooses love over family (James over Lily)
