Everything in Its Place

"Out of my way! Out of my way!" yelled Carina as she rushed after Jake whose hand was leaving a blood trial through the floor as they rushed downstairs folllowed by all 19 team.

"Move move!" yelled Jake as he rushed downstairs almost tripping over his own feet

"Call Maya now!" yelled Andy as she followed behind and Vic picked up her phone

"Kate there is no more time honey" said Jo "we can't wait anymore" she said

"Kate" said Amelia as she picked up her chin "Kate look at me" she said as she shook her head "you're not alone, we are here but there is no more time, this baby can't wait anymore" she said

"Kate I don't want to take you into surgery for a C-section" said Jo "but there won't be much time left, I can't risk both your lives"

"Captain Bishop!" yelled a nusre as she followed her

"yeah?" she asked as she turned around

"I'm from the nursery downstairs, it's Grace" she said and Maya dropped everything and rushed after her
She got to see the first message from Andy and Vic
we're with Carina
As she was sure Carina was okay she rushed out not stopping chasing after the nurse

Carina and Jake bursted downstairs as they rushed through the OB floor and after interrogating a nurse they bursted into Kate's room

"Kate" said Jake as he rushed over to her side

"Carina?" Asked Jo as she looked at her and in seconds Carina was all over the place

"Kate, Kate" whispered Carina as Kate turned to look at her

"Mom?" She asked as she noticed she was also there

"We're both here" said Carina as she looked at her

"Ready to get this baby into the world?" Interrupted Jo as she noticed they were rushing out of time

"Come on you've got this" said Jake as he grabbed Kate's hand

"Oh thanks god I've got a cover" smiled Amelia

"Stay" said Kate as she began to sit up "please stay" she said looking at Amelia who smiled and nodded

"Come on bambina, we're all here" said Carina as she grabbed her other hand

Maya rushed downstairs to the daycare followed by Vic and Andy headed upstairs to get up to speed everyone

"We're here" said Vic as she rushed into Daycare

As they walked in they found Grace with gauze over her forehead

"Oh damn" said Maya as she saw it

"It was just a small fall, she's back playing with her friends" said the nurse as Maya nodded and saw Andy's text

"Go! Go! Go!" Said Vic "I'll get her upstairs in a few seconds. Run!" She said as Maya nodded and bursted out of the room and rushed through the hallways, stairs and through every floor as fast as she could.

"You've got this." Said Jake as Kate squeezed his hand as tight as she could almost breaking it

"You're almost there Kate, almost there" said Jo

"No no, I can't. Can't anymore" she sighted as she laid back down

"No no, come on" said Carina as she lifted her up

"Mama no, I can't. I can't anymore" she said almost crying

"You've got this Kate. You're almost there. This baby is coming, once you have this tiny little baby in your arms everything will be over. you've got this" she said as she kissed her forehead

"You've got this come on" said Jo and Kate sat back up grabbing Jake's hand and nodding at Amelia who got closer

"Let's get this baby we're all waiting for" whispered Carina as she kissed her cheek

"Maya!" Yelled Andy as she found her lost through the hallways

"Andy!" Yelled Maya "where?! Where are they?!" She said hysterical

"Follow me. Follow me" she said as she rushed out running followed closely by Maya. As they got to the room Maya looked at the door and breathed deeply before opening the door, knowing it would somehow change everything. Seeing her grandchild in this world.

As she broke inside she felt her heart being warmed up so fast she couldn't hold her tears. Listening to the baby's cry in Jo's hand and the tears running down Kate's and Carina's face.

Jake kissed Kate on the lips deeply as Maya still in shock walked over to Carina who was crying non stop

"Jake the cord" smiled Jo as she held the baby and he walked over to cut the cord as Maya and Carina were hugging each other not able to stop crying.

"We're grandma's" said Maya as she held Carina closely as they both watched the baby being placed on Kate's arms

"We're grandmas" said Carina as she cleaned off her tears looking at the scene in front of them.

"You did it" said Jake as he kissed Kate's cheek and both of them were just in love down at the tiny little baby

"You actually did it" said Amelia who was standing closely and wiping off her tears "congratulations" she smiled wildly

"Mom" said Kate and both of them turned to her walking closely

Kate handed the baby over to Carina's arms and Maya wrapped her arm round both of them as the little baby tightly grabbed her finger

"Hey" smiled Maya as she wouldn't stop smiling "hey there" she said

"We're parents" whispered Jake as Carina and Maya were holding the baby i their arms

"We are" said Kate as she pecked his lips

"Congratulations" smiled Jo as she got closer

"Thank you Jo. Thank you" smiled Kate cleaning off a tear

Maya handed the baby back to Kate who looked up to Amelia who couldn't stop crying

"Amelia?" Smiled Kate

"Sorry. I'm really sorry" she smiled wildly "I just... I can't help it" she said as Jo wrapped an arm round her

Jake smiled and handed the baby over to Amelia who cleaned her tears

"So..." began Jo "have you two thought bout a name?" She asked as she looked down at the baby in Amelia's arms

Jake laughed and said "I guess we need to figure that one out"

The baby was back to Kate arms and Carina was sitting on the edge of the bed as the door opened and Vic walked in with grace holding her hand followed by Andy

"Oh my.." whispered Andy and Vic getting closer and hugging Maya. Grace jumped into Maya's arms looking at Kate in shock smiling

"The baby" she giggled

"As Carina held the baby and Maya held grace Andy and Vic got close to see the baby in the Italians arms

"It's amazing" smiled Andy as her eyes turned watery

"Welcome to the family little bambino" said Carina
