I decided to walk off from there for now, I'll ask eomma about it later, I hope that they're not hiding something from me

I was in the palace library trying to read this very interesting book, let me emphasize ' trying ' It's so difficult to concentrate after the conversation I just overheard

I should ask her majesty about it as soon as possible

I decided to go and have a word with her majesty right now

I was walking towards eomma's room, but I met her in the ginormous hallway itself

" Eomma, can I talk to you for a minute"

" Yes" she simply replied

I was getting nervous ? She also had this cold composed face on, which sent shivers down my spine

" What is it, Heeseung ah?"

" E- eomma, is appa o- okay?"

She was a bit taken aback by the sudden question and had a sad look on her face for a while but she quickly tried hiding it by smiling warmly towards me

" Why wouldn't he be okay? "

She's trying to hide something from me

" E- e- eomma are you and appa h- hiding something from me ?"

Her expression changed quickly, she looked upset

" Heeseung" she sighed " did you eavesdrop on my conversation with Dr. Min?"

" Y- yes, b- but it wasn't i- in- intentional , I was w- walking towards the p- palace li- library and I happened to o- o- overhear it "

She sighed, again

" Heeseung ah, your appa is suffering through a serious disease"

" W- what kind of disease? "

" A brain tumor."

I felt as if I was crushed under a big boulder

" Why? Why did you hide it from me ? "

" Heeseung ah, your appa did not want you to find out about his current situation, he felt that boy would affect your mental health, and he did not want that to happen to his son who will be inheriting the throne soon"

"Since when does he have brain tumor"

I started crying, I decided to run away from there for now

I called my personal butler Sunoo and asked him to get my horse ready

I was going far away, towards the mountains that connect the south and the west kingdom

I had so many thoughts in my head, I started crying the moment my horse came to a halt

I was crying and that's when I felt a hand on my back , I jolted up and turned around

There behind me was standing ....

"I..."

She sat down beside me

She was just sitting there, she did not say anything

She sat there in silence for about 15 minutes

Then she spoke

" Good afternoon Prince Heeseung...How are you? "

" I'm... "

She looked at me with curious eyes

" Good afternoon princess Iseul, I'm... Not very... Well"

"Huh? Are you sick?"

She asked while checking my temprature with the back of her hand

" Ah n- no i- I'm not sick"

She sighed

" Prince Heeseung, how about your mental health? "

I don't know why but right after she said that I started crying

Park Iseul's pov

Prince Heeseung started crying suddenly, I wonder why? But I don't think I'm in any position to ask him about the reason

" Prince Hee... Uh sorry Prince Heeseung are you okay?"

Lee Heeseung's pov

When she called me Hee, I was filled with rage, only Kim Ora can call me that!!

" I'm fine. I'll take my leave now" I said coldly and left

I decided to go back to the kingdom
