Lee Heeseung's pov

Ae cha and I showed them around the palace and we talked way too much than expected, Iseul really is a great girl to be with, I think of her as a friend now

" Heeseung, who is that?" Iseul asked

It was a painting of Ora...

" That's ... My old friend, she's Princess Ora, the last time we met was 9 months ago, so I made her portrait"

Iseul smiled warmly

" She's beautiful, You have great painting skills. I don't think I've ever met the ruler of the North Kingdom, I'll meet them today!! "

My face dropped

I forgot that they are invited too... I hope Ora doesn't say something that'll hurt Iseul

" Heeseung? Are you not excited to meet your friend? "

" Huh? Oh, of course I'm happy to meet her!!"

I tried to sound convincing

" I'm excited to meet her too!! I wanted to be good friends with her too!!"

Oh shoot! Iseul can't and shouldn't meet Ora !

" Uh, she is kind of cold when she meets someone new, that might hurt you"

" Ah, okay, but I'll have to greet her though"

I nodded

We talked about random stuff until Chaeyeon and Ae cha said that it's time for us to start getting ready

Iseul, Chaeyeon and Ae cha went to Iseul's room to get  her ready

Park Iseul's pov

Chaeyeon and Ae cha were helping me get  ready for the ball

I was wearing a baby blue synthetic gown, which had a slit on the left side of the gown, the slit started from my left thigh and was extended till my toes, which showed my glass slippers perfectly, the gown  was a  V neck  gown

Ae cha tied my hair in a beautiful messy bun and added a few pins to it to make the bun a bit more attractive,  I had a small fringe lying beautifully on the right side of my forehead

For the makeup, Chaeyeon settled for a natural look, as for the accessories I was wearing a gold chain with a gold rose as an embellishment in the middle, I was wearing small gold heart earrings and was wearing a platinum bracelet

After a while eomma and Queen Lee walked in

" Iseul ah, you look beautiful" Queen Lee said

" Thank you your majesty"

" Are you excited for the ball?" eomma asked

I nodded

" I'm meeting Prince Heeseung's friend, Princess Ora, she's the Princess of North Kingdom!!"

Queen Lee and eomma smiled. Although I don't know why but Queen Lee's smile looked a bit fake... I decided to shrug it off

" Excuse me, I'll check up on Heeseung" Queen Lee said

She walked out of the room

I looked at Ae cha and she just shrugged

I sighed
