Chapter 9 - Happy Birthday Rei :)

I became very close to Aunt Victoria, she is like my second mom. I really enjoyed working in the Noodle House because of her and of course Shoujiro ;)

"Since you started working here, I've been seeing a lot of cute boys in my shop" she wink at me

I just smile and continue wiping the dishes

"I'm so happy that you get along well with my son" she look at me

"I'm happy too" I said "Plus I now met the most younger looking mom in Juso"

She blushes and laugh

We heard the Noodle Shop door open, the whole soccer team is here

"Welcome to Noodle Shop" Victoria usher them to the empty table and get their order

I help in preparing the order and volunteer to bring it to the customer

"Rei Hyun?!" their eyes almost pop out when they see me bringing their order

"Enjoy your meal" I smile and walk back to the kitchen

"Is Rei going out with Jiro?" I hear all of them ask Yoji

Poor Yoji, he is now in the middle of a very uncomfortable situation

"Maybe" he smile and start eating his noodles

All of the team giggle

"They look good together"

I secretly smile when I hear them

"You are all here" Jiro just came from delivering the order

"Jiro take care of Ms. Hyun" they all smile at him

Jiro smile when he realize that they are talking about our relationship

"I will" he look at me

I almost drop the bowl that I'm drying but still I manage to smile back

I saw Ayame reading a book in the library, I quietly sat down beside her

"Rei!" she looks so happy to see me

"I miss you Ayame"

"I miss you too.. but of course I'm happy that you have Jiro"

"Hhhmmmm actually he is still not saying that he likes me" I suddenly look so down

"You know the song 'When you say nothing at all' I think he likes you like that, it shows that you are important to him even without a word" Ayame cheers me up, she gets something in her bag "Tada.." she tries to lower down her voice

"Oh my..." I receive her gift

"Happy Birthday!" Ayame hugs me

We both decided to go home together and eat in a cafe on our way home

I saw Ayame's expression when she saw my older brother waiting. I didn't know that my brother will pick me up..

"Rei I think its better if we go in a cafe tomorrow..I need to go back to the library okay?"

"Okay..." I hold her hand

"See you" she lets go of my hand and walks back and inside the campus

"Kuya Ken!!" I ran to my brother and hugs hims so tight

"Happy Birthday" he smiles

"Mom and dad waiting?" I ask him

"Yup"

There are a lot of customer in the Noodle House today. I decided to sit outside during my break to get some fresh air

"It was your birthday yesterday" I saw Jiro, he sits down in front of me

"Aha" I smile "We just had a simple dinner"

"Today is the grand opening of the Juso Carnaval, wanna go?" he smile

"Of course!" I sound so excited

FLASH
there is a sudden flash of a camera like a paparazzi somewhere

"Yoji!" I saw Yoji holding my camera

"I just captured the moment" he teases

I feel so happy while Jiro and I plays a lot of game in the carnaval, we even eat a lot of delicious street food. We also tried the cute and silly photo booth. And going to rides keeps our energy up

We are slowly walking in the middle of the carnaval when Jiro holds my hand

I smile at him

"I'm happy to walks with you like this" he said

I thinks he is saying he likes me

"I like to walk with you too" so I just said I like him right?

He pulls me and hug me gently

"Best birthday gift ever" I whisper to him

We both laugh and decided to try the ferris wheel
