Ch.2: Why Me?

Nova's POV

I woke up on the floor of my room."what was that?" I said scratching my head. Atleast it was only a dream.

That was weird and what was that voice.

"Nova hurry up its the last month of school you don't want to be late!" my mom yelled.

Oh crap! I forgot today's friday!!!!!! YES!

"Coming mom!" I yelled as i jumped up and ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth, this day will be great!

*le time skip*

I ran downstairs and lookied at the clock. 7:30?! Crap i missed my bus!

"Morning honey do you want me to drop you off?" she asked.

That would be great but there would be too much traffic and i know all the shortcuts to get there without cars.

"Thanks mom but I'll just run" I replied as i took some toast and bacon and almost ran out the door.

"Wait Nova!!" mom yelled to me.

"Yeah what's wrong?" I asked confused

"Where's your backpack?" she asked.

I looked on my shoulder and noticed i forgot it upstairs!!

"Thanks for the note mom!" i yelled running upstairs and pack as i grabbed my backpack and ran out the door as I yelled "Bye!" to my mom.

"Bye honey" mom said giggling

*le time skip once again*

I ran into the building as i saw no one was in the halls! Crap! I ran to class as i heard my teacher calling attendence.

"Ren?" the teacher asked if he was there

"Here!" he said putting his feet on the desk but quickly put them down as the teacher gave him 'the look'

Damn!!!! I tip-toed into class through the back door.

"Ah well Nova nice to see you finally joined us" she said as i was in mid tip-toe.

"Ahahahahaha, well you know what they say 'its better to be late than to not show up at all' " I said making something up as I fake laughed

"No i don't think they say that at all" Ren said grinning

I was about to say 'shut up Ren' out loud but i would probably get extra homework so its best to leave it be.

"Yes well take your seat. Now class lets start" the teacher started

As she started the lesson I starting thinking about the dream I had

Your future is tied with another

Huh weird.

"Nova!" A voice yelled as I looked up to see the teacher glaring at me.

"Huh?! Whaa!!" I said distress fully as I fell out of my chair

"Glad to see your paying attention, how about you tell use the answer to number 18" the teacher said

"Yes ma'am!" I said as I opened my book and started coming up with the answer
