I had always had a plan for when things were to go south and my plans always worked, I even made sure my parents were perfectly healthy but what I didn't plan for was my older sister getting breast cancer, when they broke the news I didn't know what to do "If she doesn't get treatment in 2 weeks she'll only last half a month at best".

When they told me this I was going to immediately agree with giving her treatment but she told me not to "BUT WHY?! I-IF YOU DON'T Y-Y-YOU COULD D-DIE!" she only smiled at me and wiped away my tears "You work so hard for our family sis....and what did I ever do....gamble the money away...".

My sister was a extreme gambler, she's part of the reason why I couldn't finish high school but luckily I just went to the local library to learn and I was able to to make a big sum of money which she always used for gambling I've always tried to help her get over the addiction but it never works.

"You were always there for me even when mum and dad gave up.....what kind of big sister am I huh....I stopped you from going to school I almost got our entire family hunted down because I owed a few guys money but what did you do? You payed them for me and begged then to leave ME alone".

I remember crying in hospital room with her, I never hated my sister for the things she did I knew she did the things she did out of stress "All I ever do is tie you down with me, and we both know we don't have enough money to pay for the treatment let your big sister go.....then you'll start having the life you deserve".

She was right tho we didn't have enough money at the time to pay for the treatment but I knew there was a solution there had to be! If there's one thing I know it's that there is always a solutions to every problem in the world including this I just needed to figure it out 'No! I'm not letting her die!....not here not now COME ONE Y/N THINK OF SOMETHING?!'.

But one day a miracle happened a man with a well tailored suit came up to me and offered to play a game of ddakji and said that I'd win 1000 won, at first I was going to decline but at the time I was desperate for any bit of money I could get for my sister, I won the first round and for some reason the guy looked shocked like he didn't think I could do it.

After about 20 rounds I had won 20,000 won 'Yes! This still might not be enough but I'll get there I just know it!' I had always been good at ddakji because I always knew the tricks to the game in order to win, when I put the cash away the man offered me a card saying that I could make more money like this playing games like this.

'Wait.....I know this guy isn't lying I mean I just witnessed first hand that he wasn't lying that means....I'LL BE ABLE TO PAY FOR SIS'S TREATMENT!' I took the card and called when I got back home, when I was on the phone with the guy he sounded so sketchy and the fact the were asking for me to wait until 12:00 am was even more of a red flag.

'Ok I have to be smart about this, if I'm not I could lose my last chance at getting quick cash for S/n's treatment....be smart about this Y/n that's all you need to do...' and that's what brings me here now, inside of a big wear house? with bunk beds and strangers that probably need money as badly as me 'Winning these games might be challenging'.
