"Last night's tragic event, the troup that Mr. Chikaishi Tetsuo belonged to is housed in the hotel this reporter is standing in front of the young leader of the torupe is in the station, taking down his statements--"

The Detective Boys watch Megumi irritatedly turned off the tv and sigh. Akari and Aurora insist in coming along to watch over her, along with Conan and the kids as the amber flower shop girl prepare everyone's lunch.

"You already suspected me as the culprit. Now you're saying that Akari is one of them?! You kids can't be serious!" Aurora looked the shrunken detective in amusement.

"We are not completely positive yet, so we need to be sure, onee-chan. She's the only one who's watching backstage. She could've done it somehow and Tamanosuke-san is highly suspicious to Megure-keibu-san..." he tried to explained or at least defend the children's doubtful conclusion, but his blonde friend was not having it.

"First of all, Akari only beat up people, not kill. Second, she wasn't trying to kill anyone. It was an expression she always give when someone pisses her off carelessly! Third, she doesn't make friends with criminals! Even if they are her childhood friends. Please think this through your conclusions one more time, Conan-kun. I know you're not that stupid like the kids at your age..." she said before his pupils shrunk and turn to her from his small notebook.

Is she... Does she know I'm Shinichi?... No, impossible. We never encounter a single time at least when we were young, did we? We met in 5th grade where my kid face has matured enough, she couldn't have known if I was smart or dumb back in the day...

"W-What made you say that? I'm just like every other child..." he respond, a little hesitant if he should ask or not, but the words already came out of his mouth.

"You take crimes very seriously, but unlike Genta and the other two, you've been talking to Shinichi about detective cases on the phone more than I do. I won't be surprise if a young kid like you is a genius geek like him!" The blonde mention before he look at her, dumbfounded. Not too soon, he sighed in relief.

"Wait-is that a compliment or an insult?"

"Both... I suppose..."

"Aurora-neechan!" Conan yelled at her that caught the other's attention, puffing his cheeks sheepishly when the girl messes his hair. Once Akari call them all downstairs, she stopped her dying laughter and followed Megumi, who's the first one who rush at the ground floor to welcome back her brother.

"Tamanosuke-kun, good thing you're back. How do you feel?" She asked first, speaking for Akari since she seems to be out of her character today. "Just a little tired, but I'll be fine..." he covered up, but his slight exhausted expression was enough for the amber hair to storm back to the kitchen.

"He lied..." Conan heard Aurora utter before the kid peek towards the kitchen to see Akari cutting some meat to cubes with her front bangs covering her eyesight. Weird... he thought. "How could you be? You haven't slept or at least take a short nap since last night!" Once Tajima remind him out loud. Conan saw the girl in the other room, flinch and accidentally drop a few plates on the kitchen floor.

"Akari-san, are you alright over there?" Aurora asked as she left the front door to help her friend out. "Anyways, you can have a good night rest to today..." an old man remind him, showing his concern for the boy to take it easy. "Treat this as your own house as well, okay? I'm pretty sure that girl over there in the kitchen will be very much delighted if you did!" An old woman, who seemed to be the wife, added with a motherly smile.

Once Tamanosuke gaze at the kitchen, Akari just huff and look away, annoyed as he carry on the broken plates with a silver tray without anu help. He sigh in guilt and bow respectfully in front of the old married couple. "Sorry for the trouble..."
