At least in the sense that it wasn't on time
Anyway hi everybody! Welcome to a little installment I like to call 🌕🌗🌑🌟⚡️ALMOONS ART BROCHACHOS ⚡️🌟🌑🌗🌕
I was gonna use the face moon emojis but those things are terrifying so
Anyway this is Kei and Ari—god I haven't drawn Kei in forever, and the last time I drew Ari was...hold on I have to travel over there to check...part 96 of my last one! Which is actually a lot sooner than I thought, but still, they both deserve much love

Yup. Kei and Ari in matching angel/devil costumes
For those of you who read Almoons, you'll know that Ari is a caela and therefore has wings! Which works perfectly for an angel costume! Except that wings are hard and I need to learn how to actually draw them...
But you know what I need to learn to draw even more?
Bird! Feet!
Because Ari has them! That's right! Caeli have the feet of whatever flying animal they mimic, which means Ari has the talons of a McFrickin eagle and I can never draw her with them!
Not to mention Kei's half tree (long story, read the story in the story it's very good), so her leaves aren't there...basically this is a human AU but I planned it to not be that way so
ANYWAY
Uhhhh what to say what to say...
This one took about 8 and a half hours...most sketching and shading if I'm being honest, but no surprise there. The only thing I'd really wanna talk about would be the fun lighting thing I did, so here we go
It's not that complicated, I basically just took one of my favorite brushes (the softy one I used for all the shading) and did the lighting with that, and then took the hard brush that I use for line art and did the little jagged zig zags I do...it looks best on Ari's hair, but yeah, that's essentially it
