chapter 6: Angry and Smiley

y/n p.o.v

The night went by pretty fast Baji and Chifuyu were studying together for quite awhile, personally I just stayed in my room and thought about what exactly I was gonna do. I remember hearing a lot of yelling of what's the right answer or the right way to spell and whatnot. I yawned as I got out of the bed and headed out into the loungeroom. "oi took you long enough to get up it's almost midday" Baji called me over to join him. "oh is it sorry I just couldn't sleep over all the yelling" I sat down next to him flicking his forehead. "oi!? look I'm sorry don't do that it hurt" he mumbled the last part while rubbing the now red dot forming in the middle of his forehead. "so is it alright if I go for a walk today?" I asked as I wanted to go out and explore. "umm yeah sure just be back by 5pm and don't let my mum find out she'll kill me by the way she gets back by 6pm today instead of 8 so you better be back before than" Baji sent me a menacing stare, it was understandable a mothers wrath is quite scary. "yeah ok I shouldn't be too long, thanks" I hopped up and went straight for the door. I grabbed my shoe's putting them on.

about 2 hours later about 1pm

ah man I just don't get it where the hell am I maybe next time I go out it should be at night I might run into a demon slayer or something. I was walking around surveying the area but it made no sense to me I sighed as I slumped over sitting down on a bench in a park. I took in the sounds around me the birds were chirping the sound of children screaming and playing with each other and the light breeze that made my hair sway to the side slightly. It was all interrupted when I heard and smelt a familiar someone. I turned my head towards the familiar presence and noticed the blue fluffy hair it was Angry, with nothing better to do I decided to start a conversation.

"yo what's up funny running into you" I waved a small hello to the boy as I started to walk beside him slowing down to meet his pace. "a-ah L/n!, yeah hi" his expression eased a bit now looking a tad bit less angry. "you can call me y/n I don't mind honestly" I laughed as the boys face next to me showed the look of shock I honestly don't mind as long as they are a good person and the scent that this blue fluff ball gave off even with such a expression, he has a heart of gold I can say that for sure. His brother on the other hand definitely not a bad guy either but he has a scent of wildness but still a sweet kid both of them were kind but Souya was definitely the nicer one. "so what are you doing out here" He asked as he grabbed out a drink of some kind out of a small white bag. "here are you thirsty?" he handed me one I gladly excepted it, the drink said strawberry flavoured I noticed this immediately after yesterday with that icecream I was excited to try this. "ah thank you" I thanked him as I opened the drink. I was quick to try it and I had the right idea for being excited it was delicious wherever I was, the stuff in this place is amazing. I looked over at Angry and noticed he had the same drink but it was blue. "hmm what is that a different flavour?" I asked. "oh yeah it's blue raspberry wanna try?" he handed the drink to me and I gave him the one I had. "thank you I will" I took a sip of it and once again I was impressed I definitely preferred the strawberry but this one was good too. "ah that's good too why have I never had this stuff before I must of really been living under a rock or something" I handed him his drink back and he gave me the strawberry one back. Since I was walking with him I didn't exactly know where we were going but I soon found out when we stopped Infront of a small home. "uhh so do you want to come in or?" He asked as he pulled out a key and opened the door. "uhh sure I'm not doing anything so" I accepted his offer and he held the door open for me I walked inside and he followed behind me closing the door behind him. "oh you're home so did y-" Smiley peep out from another room but he stopped mid sentence once he noticed me. "oh L/n your here didn't expect that" his voice was bland and his usual smile had disappeared, by his scent he was annoyed. what he doesn't like me being here welp that's gonna make this awkward I thought, his smile and happy toned voice had quickly came back but he was definitely still annoyed. I kept quiet for a bit, they both showed me where the loungeroom was, the kitchen and the bathroom also their rooms too. I took a seat on the lounge and so did the other two they both sat down on either side of me. "so umm you're parents out or?" I asked I was curious and needed a conversation to start. "oh yeah we live alone" Smiley said, "uuh well no we don't our parents are just never home they go on a lot of business trips so they only come home every once in awhile" Angry corrected his brother. "huh well yeah but that's basically the same thing" Smiley leaned onto my shoulder to stare at his brother in the eyes. "no it isn't" Angry remarked now also leaning forward over me. man are they trying to 1 up each other or I thought as they continued to bicker with one another. "oh I almost forgot did you get the drink I asked for?" Nahoya finally leaned back. "..." Souya went silent as if he had just remembered something that was bad. "what don't tell me you forget it!" Nahoya sighed out he was even more annoyed then before. hmm a drink huh ... WAIT!? the drink he was supposed to get was it the one that I drank oh no he's already annoyed with me this can't be good. Now I was nervous but there was no use hiding it. "oh yeah about that I think I might of drank it..." I spoke up as I gave a worried smile. "huh?" the pink haired boy turned to now look directly at me he leaned closer to my face. "is that so you really drank all of it?" He asked coldly even though he was smiling and his tone was a happy one. "well no there's still half left, here see" I grabbed the drink from were I had placed it on the table. "oh good" He grabbed it and started drinking from it. "uh yeah sorry about that" I apologized. "oi Smiley don't just take it y/n was drinking it" Angry hissed towards his brother as he tried to grab the drink from him. Nahoya choked on his drink as soon as the words left his brothers mouth. "what did you just say, y/n?, first names already huh!" Nahoya put his drink down and grabbed his brother by the collar of his shirt. I could see where this was going and I wasn't about to let these two fight each other over a drink, though I did fight with my brother Sanemi over a lot of petty little things that was us. "alright umm if you'd kindly not fight that'd be much appreciated and Smiley if you wish to call me y/n feel free too I don't mind" I pushed Nahoya and Souya away from each other slightly just to hopefully stop a possible fight. "......" silence filled the room as the two boys just stared at me. "huh so you're ok with first names that quickly" Nahoya asked as he closed the lid on his drink placing it on the table. "yeah I don't really mind you guys seem nice enough" I nodded to them. "really even me?" Souya asked, he was just a bit self-conscious about his face as too most people he came off as mean most of the time he didn't really mind but nonetheless it's been hard for him to make friends because of this. "hm? now what you think because of the expression of yours I'd think otherwise of course I wouldn't actually I have a older brother who has a expression like yours and he may look really scary but he's honestly so sweet" I laughed I think I realised why he reminded me of genya slightly it's the angry expression but yet such a sweet personality. "huh? really you have an older brother?" Souya asked it was so cute how he perked up his eyes seemed to sparkle a bit. "yeah two actually the one I said reminds me of you is my brother Genya he's the middle child he's 16 and the other is the oldest Sanemi he's 22 I believe" I had this small smile on my face as I thought of my brothers once I find a way back I'm definitely gonna give Genya a hug and maybe jump kick Sanemi. "oh really what's this Sanemi guy like?" Nahoya asked as he leaned his chin on my shoulder. "oh Nemi huh? how should I put this... well to put it bluntly scary" I deadpanned as I thought back to my brother's classic expression he'd pull after I had pissed him off. "hmm how so?" Souya questioned as he was now curious about the current conversation. "welp let's just say he has a face that wants to kill and he actually threatens people and will hurt someone not kill but yeah" I shivered at the thought of my brother killing demons with me on those few missions we went on together. "oh well I guess to some people that could be seen as scary" Nahoya clicked his tongue by the sound of it he really did not think my brother was scary from just description. "ah well let's just say once if you met him you'd get what I ment" I sighed out as I stretched my arms. "hmm hey you hungry?" Souya asked as he stood up. "uhh sure if you're offering I'm fine with everything" I was starting to get hungry a little so I was definitely not gonna pass up this offer. I watched as the blue haired boy walked into the kitchen. "I'll be back I need to use the bathroom" The other boy also got up as he walked off down the hall. Somehow with all this thinking and I guess stress in a matter of minute of just sitting there on my own I had fallen asleep.

Nahoya p.o.v

I finished up in the bathroom and came back out to find the h/c haired girl fast asleep, I tried nudging her but she was out cold. Heh best not to wake her I thought as I sat down next to the girl. I took this opportunity while my brother wasn't in the room to lean my head on her shoulder and have a bit of a rest too.

About 10 minutes later...

3rd person p.o.v

Souya came out with (idk whatever you want ig) and he noticed the sleeping girl and his older brother who was sleeping using her shoulder as a pillow. He was quick to place the food down and sit on the other side of the girl and he grabbed his brother shaking him awake while with his other hand he wrapped his arm around her arm. "h-huh what I was sleeping... Hey! the hell do you think you're doing hugging her like that!" Nahoya gritted his teeth as he tried to pull his brothers arm from the girls. Somehow y/n managed to stay asleep for a whole 20 minutes while the two boys just fought with each other over her. Eventually they gave in and both fell asleep while leaning on the girl, Smiley was asleep while leaning on her shoulder again and souya had fallen asleep on her other shoulder but had sunk down with his head now on her lap.
