Waking Up

Kibas pov

I opened my eyes to find myself in shinos arms. I jumped out of his arms, my face bright red.

"morning sleepyhead" naruto said teasingly "did you have a good nap? Being a ninja must be so tiring for you!"

"shut up!" I yelled "I bet if you passed out in the forest your team would leave you in the dust!"

"it's true we would"

"argh shut up sasuke!"

"don't you talk to sasuke that way naruto!"

"yeah what she said!"

Naurto ended up getting beaten up by ino and sakura while sasuke looked as uninterested as ever.

"so what exactly happened" I scratched my head.

"oh kiba" hinata threw her arms around me "we were so worried. When you went into littlespace you went straight up to those guys and we had to leave you behind. Can you forgive us?"

"Well sure I can" I hugged her back "those guys were way too strong for you!"

Suddenly akamaru jumped out of her jacket and started licking my face "aww hey boy I missed you too" I giggled "though I am confused about one thing. How am I alive if you left me with those guys?"

"you have him to thank for that" shino pointed at the guy with the puppet on his back "he protected you from the red haired one"

"I see" I nodded before walking over to him.

"kiba where are you going?" hinata yelled but I ignored her and tapped the guy on the shoulder.

"hey dude thanks for saving me. That was pretty cool of you" he looked at me in confusion "Umm are you ok dude?"

"why aren't you talking in that babyish voice? Did you bump your head before or-"

"oh that. Well you see I'm a age regresser" I muttered feeling embarrassed "it means that sometimes, usually when I'm stressed I'll act younger than I am"

"oh" he looked disappointed.

"hey don't sweat it man. Know you'll get a chance to meet the real me" I winked at him.

Our conversation was cut short by the hokage stepping in "alright everyone into line's. It's time for the elimination rounds!"
