It was a cloudy morning. The smell of rain on pavement hit my nose and I sighed contently. I took a sip of my coffee as I walked to school. I had my headphones in as I listened to my favorite song.

Kat pov

I walked out of my house to walk to school. Totally not hoping to run into anyone in particular. I yawned as I turned the corner. Believe it or (not I don't really care) , but I actually love the smell of rain on pavement.

Y/n pov

Hm? Why is Kat walking I never see him walk to school.

*whistle *

" hey hottie what's your fine self doing walking alone this fine morning" I smirked as I yelled across the street.

Kat basically broke his neck trying to find who said that. When he finally spotted me he gave me a quick glare before rolling his eyes.

I chuckled and ran across the street.

" why are you here go back to the other sidewalk" he groaned as if this wasn't the best thing happening to him right now 🙄

" why are you walking today?" I ignored his comment

" just wanted to" he continued looking forward

" I bet it was to see my beautiful self " I stuck my tongue out

" what no why would I wanna see your ugly face" he scoffed

" mhm whatever helps you sleep at night" I chuckled

"So you nervous for when I beat you today" Kat smirked

I choked on my coffee.

" I beg your pardon" I coughed

" in the competition today, did you drop some brain cells while walking here or what" he grumbled

" OH.. you wish you could win against me" I pushed him slightly

I started mouthing the words and swaying as I walked.

Suddenly my earbud was taken out. I looked up to see him putting it in his own ear

We began to walk in a comfortable silence. I sighed contently as I looked around.

When we got to school I put away my earbuds and turned off the music.

" you know for a loser like yourself you have an ok music taste" Kat said nonchalant

" Y/N come hereeeee" I heard Mina from across the room

" gotta go see ya" I turned and walked to the girls

" what were you talking about" Mina smirked at me

" your mom" I smiled

" everyone sit down"

I immediately dropped into my seat.

" as you know we have that televised sport festival competition thing so get Changed and head to the gym" Mr.A sighed

Time skip

We were being lead to this tunnel looking thing.

"Ok wait here till the gate opens. When it opens the games have begun" we heard on a loud speaker

I got lost from class so I just stood next to some randos

The gates began opening and everyone rushed out, causing us all to get stuck.

I summoned my wind quirk and flew up with my wings. I looked down to see todoroki freezing the floor.

I chuckled and flew out, approaching some robots.
I just flew above them and went back down to the ground and ran.
