It had been over a year since Penny had told the Wayne's about her powers, and it had been six months since she was officially adopted by Bruce Wayne. Since then she had trained with the boys and had even become one of Batman's proteges, her name, Spiderwoman. People seemed to really like her, and Penny was so happy about how her life was going. Not only had she become a superhero, but her relationship with MJ was going amazing. 

They hadn't had a lot of dates, but they hung out at school, at after school clubs, at Ned's house, and even at MJ's house. Bruce hadn't met MJ yet, and neither did the boys. Of course they all wanted to, and they didn't like that Penny was dating a boy when she barely went out with him. Of course they didn't know how much they hang out, and they didn't know that MJ and Penny both didn't feel the need to have to go on dates to be dating. Which is why when Penny told the Wayne's and Alfred that MJ would be picking her up from the mansion for a dinner date at a nice restaurant, they were very intrigued.

Penny was excited. MJ and her had been dating for a little over a year, and things were amazing. MJ was the super sweet and very understanding, so when Penny told him everything about her, including foster care and her powers, and he reacted to amazingly. She could help but be even more in love with him. MJ couldn't help but feel the same way about her. 

They both loved each other very much, and even though they're both young, they want to spend the rest of their lives together. That's the reason why Penny never introduced MJ to the Wayne's or Alfred. She thought that they might not understand. They might think that she's too young to be so in love with someone that she wants to spend the rest of her life with, but she can't keep them away forever, it's similar to how MJ's mother reacted. MJ's mom didn't understand at first but she did after a while to knowing Penny. Penny had been a little hesitant to have MJ meet her family because of that experience. That's why when MJ and Penny made a nice dinner date, they planned for MJ to pick her up from the mansion in his new car. Of course he wouldn't stay too long, but he would when he brought her home. Their plan is to have MJ pick her up, they spend a nice evening at the restaurant, and then they'd go back to the mansion and everyone could meet MJ.

So Penny excitedly got ready. Even though they both felt like they didn't have to go on dates, she always hoped that MJ would take her out. So when he brought this plan to her, she couldn't help but agree. She gets to go on a date with him, and he gets to meet the family. She knows that it's time. 

Penny had gotten into a nice floral dress, it's not to fancy and it's not too casual. Perfect for their date. She slipped on a pair of low red heel to match, did her hair and make-up, grabbed her purse and went downstairs to wait. 

Alfred so far was the only one to know that after their date MJ would be coming here to meet them. That's the reason why currently the boys were all together and making a plan to spy on their date. They hadn't gotten the chance before because they'd been busy doing other things, but tonight they were free. So they're going to spy on them, and see what type of guy MJ is. When they heard Penny come down the stairs, they joined her in the living room.

"Wow Penny, you look great," Jason says as the boys entered the room.

Penny who'd been on her phone looked up and smiled at them, "Thanks Jason."

She was about to say something else but then the doorbell rang. A huge smile spread across her face and she ran out of the room and to the front door. When she got there Alfred had answered it, and MJ was standing in the entrance holding a bouquet of flowers. She walks up to him and the two share a hug. 

He hands her the flowers, "The lady at the store said that these symbolize love, so I thought that these might be better than the orange lilies, that apparently mean hatred, that I got last time."

Penny smiles, "Thank you. I am going to go put these in my room, and then we can head out."

While Penny was putting the flowers in her room the boys and even Bruce all entered the foyer and stood intimidatingly, staring at MJ. MJ was in fact intimidated, but he knew from Penny that they love her and are worried that over reasons why they haven't met him. So he didn't take it to heart, especially since he was going to officially meet them tonight and be interrogated them, so he just silently waited. 

Penny came back down, now wearing a jacket. She was oblivious to the intimidation, and hook her arm through MJ's and smiled at him.

"Ready?"

"Yup!"

The two had arrived at the restaurant and were having a fantastic evening. They had been seated in the outdoor patio and with the weather, it was great. They were in the middle of eating when Penny's powers started to go off. Immediately she discreetly turned to the area where her powers were indicating there was a problem, and what she saw she almost couldn't believe. Her brothers were all sitting at a table in fake mustaches and fedoras.

She almost couldn't believe it. 

Penny's head turned back towards MJ and she smiled sweetly trying not to tip anything off. She doesn't want him to worry about it since he's supposed to meet them later. 

"Hey, I'm just going to go to the bathroom quickly."

"Ok, if the waitress comes over I'll get you a refill."

"Thanks."

Penny stands up, gives him a quick kiss, and walks off. She immediately walks over to their table. Of course they all had their faces in their menus as an attempt to try and hide, so they didn't see that it was her who came over to their table. 

"What do you think you're doing here?!" Penny asks with her hands on her hips. 

All of them freeze, and slowly look up from their menus to see Penny angrily staring at them. The boys all stutter out lame attempts at an excuse, but stop when they see that her angry face still hasn't changed.

"Look, I get that you all want to meet MJ. I get it, I do. But until tonight I wasn't ready. After our date MJ and I planned for you all to meet him formally, and we were going to surprise you. So you five are going to leave, and prepare to meet MJ formally. And when you do, you're going to be nice." She pauses for a moment before looking across the street," And that goes for you too Bruce. Just because you think I can't see you doesn't mean what I said doesn't apply to you."

The boys all turn to look where she's looking. They had no idea that Bruce too had followed them to spy on their date. They spot him on a park bench eating an ice cream.

Across the street Bruce freezes. He thought that he was so clever. He slowly puts down his ice cream and gives a weak smile. 

"All of you leave, NOW."

The four boys all scramble out of their seats and join Bruce across the street. Penny watches to make sure they leave, and when they do she heads back to her table. 

"Sorry there was quite a line," she says smiling at MJ.

"That's ok. So what type of things should I expect tonight when I meet your family?"
