Natasha & Yelena Headcanons #4

- Yelena gets very jealous of Natasha spending time with anyone else but especially another female

- As far as she's concerned, she's her sister's one and only and best female friend

- She's also secretly terribly insecure about being good enough to maintain her spot as her sister's favorite person

- So far, Carol Danvers and Antonia Dreykov have made it to the top on the sister-stealer list

- Yes, she made a sister-stealer list and that's perfectly normal (at least that's what she tells herself)

- On the nights that Yelena is struggling and feeling the need to handcuff herself, Natasha helps her

- She grabs Yelena's wrist with her hand tightly and lifts their arms so that their hands are brushing the headboard

- It's a much better way of feeling the safety from the sensation of handcuffing but it is gentler and does not leave bruises behind

- Whenever Yelena ends up handcuffing herself for real and wakes up the next morning with red marks and bruises, Natasha kisses her wrists gently, willing them away

- Yelena always gets extremely uncomfortable when Natasha is facing any Black Widow fans

- She starts standing in front of her big sister and keeping anyone from interacting too much

- Natasha thought it was absolutely adorable until Yelena almost throttled Ned Leeds

- Of course, she still thought it was adorable even after that, from then on she just knew better than to let Yelena get lost in her protectiveness

- Sometimes, Natasha just grabs Yelena when she's sitting close to her and she peppers the side of her face in a million kisses

- She loves to do this particularly when she knows other Avengers are in the nearby vicinity since it embarrasses Yelena a little

- However, Yelena loves the affection so much, she'd never move despite her humiliation if one of the Avengers walks in and sees them

- Yelena absolutely adores for Natasha to play with her hair and she will sit there forever if Natasha will just braid and fiddle with her hair

- Yelena also loves to run her fingers through Natasha's hair

- Something about how soft the beautiful, fiery red tresses are just entrancing to her, and Natasha always hums appreciatively with the attention

- Plus, for Yelena at least, Natasha turning her back to Yelena and letting her play with her hair is one of the biggest symbols of quiet trust and love
