Roadtrip Headcanons - Natasha and Yelena

- As soon as they're in the car, Yelena starts very loudly singing "On My Way" by Phil Collins in an attempt to irritate Natasha

- Natasha thinks that Yelena's insistence on singing all manners of songs to be very cute until Yelena starts with "Ninety-Nine Bottles of Vodka on the Wall"

- Natasha then turns on her personal collection of songs and starts blasting Sia through the car

- Yelena relentlessly makes fun of her for her music taste, but Natasha catches her singing along at some points

- When they stop at gas stations, Yelena insists on buying a crap load of candy and getting a new drink every time

- Of course, Yelena downs the drink within fifteen minutes of getting it, and Natasha always tells her to pee before they leave the place

- And Yelena always says she doesn't have to

- About thirty minutes to an hour later, they have to stop and Natasha scolds Yelena for a while after they make the stop, telling her that if she would have just went to the bathroom that they'd be at least ten miles down the road by now

- Yelena knows Natasha's being dramatic

- Natasha also almost constantly drives like she's in a high speed car chase, especially when she feels like Yelena has slowed them down

- Yelena trusts her sister to drive them perfectly safely no matter the speed they're going and the speeding itself does not bother her, but she does not hesitate to mess with her about her driving

- At some point in the trip, Natasha's driving gets them pulled over and Natasha gets a ticket

- Which Yelena will never ever let her live down

- When they end up stopping at a motel or an inn, they always get a room with two beds, knowing full well that they'll end up in the same bed at some point

- In fact, they end up in the same bed and they start wrestling because Yelena insists that Natasha is stealing her blankets and hogging up space

- Once they get through horsing around, Yelena just snuggles into Natasha contentedly, treasuring her sister's presence

- And every morning that they wake up in the place they're staying, Natasha has to practically pry Yelena off of her and make her get up

- Natasha always insists on them getting an early start to the day so they can get to their destination sooner, and Yelena always says that this is vacation and a roadtrip, so they should sleep in and enjoy the trip there more

- Natasha ends up having to drag Yelena out of the bed and sometimes tickle her a little to get her to respond to her

- Yelena always gets up as soon as Natasha starts assaulting her sides, making sure that she shoots the redhead a glare when she gets out of bed

- Whenever they eventually get to their destination, they find that they miss all of the fun and anticipation that there was on the way there

- But they both know that the trip home will be just as fun because they're together
