I APPLIED A THICK layer of lip-gloss to my lips. i had perfected my edges and hair altogether. tonight i just wanted to let loose and forget about harlow.
i wanted to just have a good time with my friends and get drunk. i knew it wasn't a good way to live and it didn't solve problems, but, damn, if i could get that little fucker off my mind for even just a second, it would be better than it is now.
i had only blocked his number for like a week before unblocking him; i just told him to stop texting me and that wish came true i guess... i'm trying to get away from him though. trying.
i also make sure to put foundation to cover up my hickey. if i was darker, it probably wouldn't be that much of an issue.
my adrenaline pumps as i think about what happened on our sofa; it was so intense but i loved every second of it. not that i'd ever tell jack that though.

WE ENTER THE CLUB, lights flashing, drunk people getting crazy, smoke filling the air. i breath it all in. fuck it, tonight i'm having fun.
"ki, imma be at the bar for now if ya need me," i inform her. we are gonna try to stay together but we can't make any promises.
"okay bitch i see you," kierra smiles.
"i'm getting faded tonight," we laugh before i eventually head off. i sit down and adjust my dress, getting ready to order.
"hey, what can i do for you?"
"um, i think i'll just get some tequila," i smile.
"damn, you look fine," he eyes me up and down and i don't feel comfortable all of the sudden. i laugh nervously, trying to brush it off. he winks at me and makes the drink.
i feel like i'm gonna barf.
he gives it to me and i say a quick thank you before i sip on it. before long, the drink is gone and i order a few other things.
fuck i think i'm reaaaally fucking drunk right now. i look at some of the people dancing before i see someone in the corner. i instantly know exactly who it is- i know that brown curly hair from a mile away.
his deep blue eyes pierce me and he flashes a smile.
if i wasn't drunk, i'd be running the other direction, but for some reason my feet have a mind of their own and before i know it, i'm headed towards him.
