IRENE COULDN'T HELP BUT STARE AT THE CITY IN FRONT OF HER. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" She asked the man beside her. Gilgamesh laughed, "You just defeated a handful of deviants and all you have to say is 'wow this city is so pretty'?" Irene rolled her eyes and punch his arm. "I need to teach you how to punch, girl." She let out a loud laugh.

"Okay next time we train you can." She gave him a big smile as the rest of the Eternals gathered around. "We got all of them for right now," Ikaris stated. "Let's head back inside the city." "Wait," She turned to the now slaughtered deviants, and then looked back to Ikaris. "Thena, Gilgamesh, stay with Irene." The two nodded and stayed behind while the others left.

"I bet it's tuff with this sand," Thena said. Irene nodded. Her powers were better when she could actually feel the earth. "Yes, but it's not impossible." She piled up the bodies of the deviants and waved her arms in front of her. The sand started to take form into quicksand and then she formed it into solid rock. "I thought you could only control plants?" Gilgamesh asked, walking closer and touching the rock formation she just formed.

Irene shrugged, "Me too, but I've been training with Sersi. I saw how she could make anything turn into stone or even water. So I've been practicing my abilities." Thena then grabbed on to Irene, "Very nice, my dear. Very nice, indeed. Now come you two!" Both Irene and Gilgamesh followed the blonde woman into the city and to the main building that stood in the middle of the city.

"We really do go to such beautiful places." Thena stated looking at the vibrant blue walls, gold-trimmed the cracks. "See, Gilgamesh? Thena agrees with me." She stuck her tongue out at the man and laughed. "I guess you two are right." "As always." Thena joked.

"Why is it, you are always late, Irene?" Makkari signed jokingly. Irene shrugged with a small smile. She left Thena and Gilgamesh and made her way over to where Druig seemed to be sulking. "Why do you look like that?"

Druig gave her a questioning look, "What do you mean? My face is always this handsome." This brought out a small giggle from Irene. Druig couldn't help but smile a little. "Yes, it is. But I mean, why do you look like you're sulking over here. In this dark corner." He shrugged, "It's not that dark."

Irene looked down at him, "No it kind of is." "Ehem." Ajak cleared her throat making Irene quickly turn around. "If you wish to have a separate conversation, then, by all means, go somewhere else." She gave both Irene and Druig a teasing look and continued on the debriefing. 'Getting in trouble now are we?' He said to her through her mind. She quickly sat down and glared at him jokingly.
