By this point in our travels, I'd become changed. I wasn't the same naïve young man anymore who'd up and left his father's home, hoping to see some wonders of the world and write in his little book.
I think Geralt could see this as he regarded me differently than he once did but now it seemed as though he were more comfortable letting me come along with him. I could handle myself better than before and I had learned many a valuable lesson during the rough times of our adventures together. And I saw him differently, too.
