Overlord is a great series especially with it's worldbuilding which is why it's difficult to even write a fanfic about without ripping Ainz out of the story, but that adds to the challenge not only that a lot of the story takes place with many great residents of Ainz Ooal Gown, so while Sif may not be enjoyed I refuse to cut what is essentially 90 percent of the story instead I use her to either partake in them or build upon the persona of Gier
It has been two days since Zaryusu was resurrected and nominated as Scar-Veteran, the scar that was branded on outcasts now had a new meaning it meant that the branded was a Lizardmen that should be revered and respected
That is why he was tasked to wait by the dirt mounds that still remained long after their use in the distance he spotted movement in the woods grabbing his macuahtil gifted to him by their new deity Lord Gier, their God of War and Wealth
Only to ease as Sif followed by Cocytus and Victim with a satchel around his...neck? exited the woods behind them followed multiple golems each pulling a sled of their own with blocks of stone stacked he was ready to warn them of the threat of sinking with such weight only for the sleds to levitate above the water until they reach him
Cocytus: greetings Zaryusu, this is Sif daughter of Lord Gier and this is Victim a fellow Guardian.
Sif: hello kin of my father.
Victim: nud nud nud oooororod ooororod nud nud nud nud nud kcab m'I.
Cocytus: Victim salutes you.
Victim: syawyna -nelis fo tnemom a os gnisaet ym ot mitciv llef yletanutrofnu yeht ,doGehTelgnirP ot ezigolopa ton ot hsiw I.
Sif: yes, unfortunately they don't understand your words Victim.
Victim: racecar.
Sif: he says he is sorry for his lack of...speech?
Zaryusu: no need my liege...but what are your golems dragging?
Sif: it's a waystone.
Zaryusu: wah, what is a waystone?

Sif: yes, it allows your kind and any who are allowed to teleport to and from great distances primarily to Nazarick.
Zaryusu: amazing...but why so big?
Sif: my father has tasked me with building a grand city on this lake, this waystone will be the centerpiece of this metropolis.
Zaryusu: that would destroy so many homes, and some parts of the lake are too deep?!
Cocytus: that is why Lord Gier had our engineers produce these plans for him, they are cheap to construct and allow you to conquer this lake.
The Vermin Lord grabs the bag hanging off of Victim handing it to the lizardmen opening the bag grabbing a scroll unrolling it finding the blueprints to different buildings that provided different services
Sif: my father will have his city whether you agree or not.
Zaryusu: very well, Lady Sif.
She smiles motioning the golems to keep moving until they reach what is presumed to be the center as the meeting tent is in front of them the golems grab the stones now noticing the runes and engravings in them layering them in a circle
Half an hour later the center is packed with curious Lizardmen and a now complete waystone Cocytus breathing his frosty breath with Victim blinking Sif on the other hand is giddy
