I'm Just Supposed To

Something's chasing me through the deep,
Deep valleys of guilt,
There is no time when I should weep,
I'm just supposed to rise above the fields

I love the rainbow, but I'm seeing just black,
Black, white and grey, the colours of grief,
There is no area where I should lack,
I'm just supposed to outrun everyone in the lanes

If I'm not successful, I should be dead,
Dead demands a grave,
There's no way my blood can be red,
I'm just supposed to win so make it golden

But even if I'm dead, I should be famous,
Famous, not from limelight, but from recognition,
My heart and brain hate to agree, blame us,
'Cause I'm just supposed to live, I'm a human

This is, well, one of the many thoughts that are on rewind in my stupid mind. I know it's not really making sense but I was focusing more on the underlying meaning of this.
