SQUID GAME [TWICE VERSION]

Tug-of-War

All the players then started to go their next game while all of the team are falling in line. As when the gate was open all their eyes was roaming around the place. It has elevated platforms erected on towers high above the ground.

The gate closed and the players are still looking up the tower.

Welcome to the third game.

You're going to play Tug-of-War.

You will pull a rope on that tower to drop your opponents down below to win.

As when the superior of the guards was taking, Jeongyeon can't help but to feel nervous thinking their team might not make it as they are all girls.

With that the others team who had full of boys felt victory.

Now, I will draw lots to decide which team will play first.

Everyone, please sit down.

I will draw the lot for the team on the left tower.

The guard then pick up the lot showing a number of one.

Team One. Please stand up.

The team one then stood up. Team one includes the team of player 101.

Next, I will draw the lot for the team on the right tower.

Team Seven. Please stand up.

The next team has a lot of girls and it made them worried.

Team one and team Seven will play first.

Team one and Seven, please enter the towers.

As when they got into the tower, they were immediately handcuff by the rope.

All started to get ready for the game.

Once the gun shot was heard everybody now started to get work. All the boys from left gave all their strengths to pull the rope. It started to work up.

"Kill them!."

The right team was already been pulled as the other team was definitely strong. The red color was already in the half way. Right team was already losing. Just few pulls they will got died

"Die!."

Two players at the front then slipped from their place. The rope was already been pulled to the other side. Team Seven stared to go down the rope.

All the players who was left down stared to panicked. After that the rope was cutted off making the losing players fell on the tower. Team one have won.

The eliminated players announced one by one.

The players who was fall by the ground then started to take by the guards. One of the players are still breathing but still he was being take inside the coffin.

I will draw lots for the next round.

Team four.

Team four which is the team of Jeongyeon then stood up.

Team five.

Team five has 5 boys and 5 girls and they look strong. Some of them are looking at them as if they were already the losers. They believed they were much stronger than them.

"Shit."Nayeon mumbled

Team Four and Five please enter the towers.

"What a shame. I wanted to kill you guys myself."player 101 chuckled as they just got meet

They slowly walk until they got into the elevator to the top.

"Don't be so dispirited. Tug-of-War isn't really about strength."Mina said

"Then what? We can win by talking?."Jeongyeon said as Nayeon tapped her back to calm her down

"In Tug-of-War, with a good strategy and good teamwork, you can win even if your team is weaker."Mina said

"I played my share of Tug-of-War in my hometown when I was young, and I rarely ever lost. Even when there are ssireum athlete on the other team, putting the odds very much against us. Listen closely, and I'll tell you how I beat them back in the day."

They all now get into the top and got handcuffs.

"First off, the leader is very important. That person is closest to the leader of the opposition, and the rest of the team looks at the back of their leader. If the leader seems weak or dispirited, then the game is already over."

Jeongyeon was at the first lane and stared at the other side of the tower. The closest person seems weak.

"Then at the end of the rope, you'll need someone dependable anchor of a ship, Placing people is also important. Place the rope in the middle, and the people go on alternating sides."

Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung are the closest one and at the end was Tzuyu and Dahyun. Last left players was in the middle.

"Place your two feet straight forward, and stick the rope between your armpits. That way, you can put in all of your strengths. And lastly, this is the most important thing. When the game starts, for the first ten seconds you just have to hold out. You should practically lie down."

The game starts and they all got Mina's explanation while the other team kept on pulling the rope on their side.

"Push your lower abdomen up to the sky, and push your head back to the point. You can see the groin of the person behind you. If you do that, the other team won't be able to pull us to their side. Hold out for just ten seconds like that. Then the opposition will get frustrated thinking 'why won't they even bulge?' Because they would have believed that they were much stronger. If you can hold out for that long, there will be a moment when the opponents' rhythm breaks."

Other team then started to slipped out.

"Pull!."Jeongyeon shouted and all of the girls started to pull making the rope on their side

The other teams is now on the edge of the lane. They were almost close for losing.

"Pull yourselves together!!."with that the other team pulled the rope on their side making Jeongyeon's team pulled on the other side

The red part was already at the other team's side.

"Do something! God damn it!."Nayeon yelled

The other team was leading the game. Few more pulls they will met the edge of the lane.

"Pull yourselves together and listen up!."Jeongyeon shouted
"When I give the sign, just take three steps forward!."she said

"Go forward? Are you crazy?."Sana said

"We have to make them trip!."Jeongyeon yelled

"That's bullshit!."Sana yelled with a teary eyes

"Let's give it a shot!."Momo exclaimed

"No I can't do it!."Sana shouts

"If you can't, you'll die!."Jeongyeon shouted back

"On the count of three! One! Two! Three!."Nayeon shouted as they all got three steps forward and that made the other team tripped

Jeongyeon almost run out the lane.

"Pull!!."Dahyun shouted as they all get the rope to their side

They started to pull the other team on their side. They are still taking their time to stood up that's why it was easy fot their team to get pulled.

"Pull!."

"No!."

One last pull, the other team fall, still hanging with the rope. Jeongyeon's team was being pulled on the other side but it didn't took long and it got cutted making them fall on their place feeling tired, breathing heavily while laying down on the ground.
