when your survive loss, everyone is quick to tell you how strong you are, and how tough you must be.
but actually, no one had choice to survive grief, it's not optional.
you just have to cry in the shower, sob into your pillow and pray that you'll make it through the tunnel.
my advice to you, if you going through grief is to cry.
scream, shout.
lay on your bathroom floor, sob in the shower.
be still, run, walk, create.
love your truth, while releasing your pain.
listen, breathe.
be courageous, throw away the map and wonder, be real.
be compassionate, be vulnerable.
don't fear about being broken.
you can miss them, and you can mourn them, but you can not die with them.
you have to go on, you have to remember them and you have to keep on loving them. you have to keep their spirit alive, and share your memories with your children, and grand-children.
you have to keep that connection, until it's your time, and you meet them again on the other side.
