The Mystery Of The Unknown Location

"Ding dong!" a sudden sound interrupted our moment of silence. " I will go get it! It must be my wallet I ordered online!" My brother said cheerily said, forgetting the sad news. Moments later, he came back with a disheartening face as he dragged his feet towards me. " It is not my wallet, Ava ....but it is a letter!" My brother scowled. " It must be the water bills or something" I replied, sadden that the parcel was also not for me as my clothes do not fit in such a small letter . " Shall we take a look? It is anonymous." My brother asked. " Sure..... I guess ..."I replied. A million and one questions inundated in my mind. "What is it? Could it be a important letter?" I wondered. My heart was beating like a African bongo drum as I leaned towards my brother who was opening the letter slowly and carefully. He then took out a piece of paper that was folded and unfolded it without a second thought. " A Map???" We shouted at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed till our stomach hurt. After calming down, we looked at the map again and realized that there was a X in red at one of the places that was not labeled. " Shall we go? It is the December holidays too!" I said grinning that my boring life has turned into a adventure. " Absolutely no way!" My brother said in his "boss" voice. After much persuasion, My brother finally agreed. " Yay!!" I said cheerfully. " Unknown Location Here we go!!" " Not so fast!" My brother interrupted. " One Mystery remains.... who send us their letter and why? By the way, the location says is near Death Valley National Park which is very far away from our house it may even take days to go there even by car and we too, don't have the money to buy 2 plane tickets. So, we have to pack sleeping bags, tents, and food for instance. For a few days stay. "Sure!" I replied happily. We decided at 2am to sneak out for the adventure in order to not get caught by our parents. We found the sleeping bag from our last camping trip and other supplies for camping. Little did we know that a much bigger adventure and mystery awaits us......
