It was the end of a very tiring schedule and the girls had decided to relax by watching a movie
"Let's watch horror movie!" To this, the two eldest grumble in protest "Can't we just watch something normal, please?" Whines Sumin
"Come on, unnie~ It'll be fun! It won't be that scary either!" Jayoon retaliates "Let's just give it to them, Su. They won't stop bothering us if we dont" Sumin just rolls her eyes at the latter
"Fine"
[5 minutes later]
"Really? 'The Nun'? It's not even that scary"
"It's cause you haven't watched it yet!" Yeeun whines, glaring at their tallest "Kidding, kidding! Just play it" To that, Seeun starts the movie with nervousness
[40 minutes later]
"AHHHHH!" Sumin screams, burying her face into Sieun's neck, visibly terrified "YAH JANG YEEUN! YOU SAID IT'S NOT SCARY!" She yells at the short-haired girl who's just laughing at her
My ears...T^T Sieun thought to herself
"AHHHHHH NO DONT GO IN THERE-- AHHHHHH" Once again, Sumin buries her face deeper into Sieun's neck
But this time, Sieun felt something wet on her shoulder. Sumin was crying and trembling, badly "Oh? Sumin unnie, are you okay?" Chaeyoung asks as Seeun pauses the movie
"I'm- I'm fine....just continue the m-movie..." She replies, her voice cracking "How about I bring Sumin to the room, she doesn't seem okay" Sieun helps the said girl stand up but of course, Sumin doesn't want to
"Sumin, come on" Still, she won't budge "You leave me no choice" Sieun huffs
Then all of a sudden, she lifts her up and walks off to their shared room, shocking everyone in the process. Flustered by the sudden action, Sumin stays quiet
"Are my eyes deceiving me or did Sieun unnie just lift Sumin unnie as if it was nothing?" Chaeyoung questions, blinking over and over again "No...they're not...she really just did that..." Seeun replies with wide eyes. Yeeun and Jayoon just sit there with their mouths open
"Si-Sieun...you didn't have to-"
"Shut up, you should've told me that it was too much, not just sit there and watch" The blonde scolds as she sets the former on the bed and puts the blanket over her
Sumin was too flustered to even bring up the group heirarchy so she just layed there, face all red from embarrassment
"I'll sleep beside you so you don't get too scared" To this, Sumin reddens even more
Why did I even agree to a horror movie
"Sieun--" Before she could finish her sentence, the blondie had already snuggled herself under the blanket, wrapping her arms around the older protectively "Sumin, please just trust me. You can tell me anything, love..."
Love. Sieun had just called her 'love'. The nickname Sieun said that she had wanted to reserve for her future partner
That's when Sumin realized...Sieun never said boyfriend...but partner
"Sieun...do you..." With a loving smile, Sieun nods, pulling Sumin's body closer "You got it! So... would you... no. Will you be my girlfriend, Bae Sumin?" The girl smiles, waiting for the older to say something
That's where she was wrong, the older wasn't gonna say anything and what Sumin did next made her heart stop
