It was a Monday morning and I had to be at school in two hours
Being fully aware that I'll only take like 10 minutes to get ready and be there, I put on my hero suit and speed out of my dorm room
Still hope they don't start questioning the sudden burts of wind from time to time
Oh. Right! I forgot to introduce myself to you guys!
My name is Ahn Yujin and I'm the fastest girl alive
I got my powers around two months ago due to a sudden electric experimental failure that my parents obviously didn't expect and now here I am, saving people from all over the country with the help of my wonderfully smart and amazing friends
"Yah! Ahn Yujin! You just passed the bank by like, ten blocks!" I hear the duck yell at me through my comms
"Wait, I did? Not schway!" I hurriedly make a U-turn and speed on over to the bank
I'm now a block away when I notice that a is tall girl about to get hit by a truck so, of course, as the country's hero, I save her
Quickly leaving the scene and focusing on the mission at hand, I arrive at bank and apprehend the robbers in a flash (pun intended eheh)
"Damn, good work as always, Yuj!" Yena gives me a fist bump, strangely a lot more hyper than usual
"That girl you saved looked awfully familiar.."
I look away from the duck-like unnie and focus my sights on our main tech genius, Kim Gaeul
And my God is she stunning
"How so, Gaeul?" Chaeyeon, our team doctor, asks, entering the cortex with a tray of food for everyone
"I'm not sure..." She replies, snatching a burger from the tray and leaves for her office. A frown visible on her pretty face
"Yujin, you sure you're not crushing on her?"
"What? Of course not. That'd be weird" I reply, feeling offended
"If you say so" Chaeyeon places the tray on the desk and sits on her chair, gently shaking a test tube containing a blue liquid "Time to get ready, your school gates close in 20 minutes" She adds
"Oh schrap- Thanks for the food, unnie!" I then speed out of the building and leave for my school
[10 minutes later]
I arrive at an alleyway near the dorm building and slowly walk out, acting the way I always do ever since two months ago
"Oh? Yujin-ah! You're here~ Finally!" A voice suddenly bursts out
Ah yes, another tall idiot. Shin Yuna, per sé
"Yuna! Nice to see you waiting. Again"
"I was bored anyways. Now come on! I heard there's a new student" She then excitedly drags me through crowd, then the gates and even up the stairs to our class
Damn persistent
"Ah! Miss Shin, Miss Ahn, nice of you two to finally join us" Our teacher, Professor Yeoreum, speaks from her desk
"Sorry we're late, prof. Yujin woke up late"
No I didn't
"I see. Now sit down, we have a new student coming" She instructs and we oblige
