Confused, Jimin looks at the owner of the voice who had just stopped in front of her
"Hi..?" The girl in front of her was the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend's bestfriend, Kim Minjeong
Minjeong smiles awkwardly, holding up Jimin's skateboard
"You forgot it back at Jake's and Yoon suggested I be the one to give it back" She chuckles softly and awkwardly as Jimin gently takes it from her, bowing slightly
"And here I thought you hated me" Jimin blurts out, quickly regretting it
"Ha- hate? Why would I hate you?" Minjeong mumbles, looking away
A hint of pink on her cheeks in embarrassment
"No reason..."
"Anything else?" Silence follows the question for a few seconds
"Mall"
"Eh?"
[At the mall]
"So you're telling me, Jake chooses what you wear for you?" Jimin's face contorts into a 'what type of boyfriend is that bitch' look as Minjeong nods meekly, a wry smile on her face
"Why in the fuck would he do that?" Minjeong looks at her with a blank face, visibly considering on whether to tell her or not
Deciding it wouldn't be such a big deal, she shrugs and starts talking, both girls sipping on their milkshakes every few seconds
"Back up, back up-" Minjeong stops talking and looks at Jimin in confusion
"He says you're only allowed to wear shorts- even ones reaching below the knees- when you're with him or your female friends? Because you're 'his and only his'?!" Jimin just basically summed up everything Minjeong had said
"Winter- Can I call you Winter?" Minjeong just nods "Dump his ass"
"But he's Heesung bestfriend..."
"And he's your toxic 'boyfriend' who deserves to be dumped" Jimin gives her snarky remark, turning slightly to face the younger girl
Minjeong just chuckles sweetly at this, somehow agreeing with Jimin
"Then maybe I should..."
"Then maybe you should!" Jimin smiles proudly, happy that the other girl can be free of such toxicity
"How are you and Hee tho?"
"We've been broken up for the past three weeks, Win"
"Wait, really?"
"Yeah, really"
