Jake Wheeler

Jake is a newly 19 year old runaway. He ran away due to not being able to cope with his mom's death and father's abuse. He doesn't really have a will to live and has dealt with so much in his life that he only feels 3 emotions mainly anger and pain. He's felt love for Devon since age 13 and is only playing so that he can use money to anonymously send it to Devon for college and maybe some art supplies. He doesn't expect to see Devon and his heart stops when he does.

Devon Evans

Devon Evans is 18 and completely confused. He loves crime but isn't sure he wants to be a detective. He sees all the hours his mom works as a detective herself and the strain it puts on their relationship. He's sure he doesn't want that and he's also sure he wants to go to college but that's expensive. He's smart but he doesn't think he's smart enough for a full ride, so he believes the squid games are his best bet. He thinks about his old crush Jake from time to time and hasn't seen him lately. He can't help but tear up when their eyes meet for the first time in 2 years.

Junior Wheeler

Junior Wheeler is 19 and is sometimes on the run with his cousin. He gets easily overwhelmed and is now drowning in debt due to his dad becoming a money spending drunk and some mysterious money getting spent on the down low. He thought he went back to the games because he's willing to risk his neck for money, damn himself for having a sexual awakening in a life threatening event.

Oliver Hayden

Oliver is 18 and a hardcore simp & flirt. He's in the squid games because money is power and powerful people matter. He's determined and working on his loyalty skills. His parents are amazing but it was sometimes overbearing. He is close to age 19 and his parents wouldn't stop talking bout the end of his gap year. He feels the need to prove himself and he isn't sure why.

Lexy Cross

Alexandra is 18 and furious. She finally has a close relationship with her little sister and her mom has now ruined that. She accepted a scholarship on Lexy's behalf to a school halfway across the world and already told Lexy that she is no longer providing anything for her now that she's heading to college. She also told her sister that Lexy was super excited to leave and now her sister won't speak with her. Lexy would decline the offer but her mom already told all of her other schools she wouldn't be attending and now Lexy needs money so she can return home to her sister as much as she wants. The squid games seem like the answer.

Kimberly Evans

46 year old Kim is quiting her job due to a sexist boss and a cracked relationship with her son. She needs to fix things and fast. He's going to college but she isn't sure they can afford all the years he's trying to attend. Money is needed and the squid games give it. Devon is worth anything to her and she'll play to prove it.

Michelle Cross

46 year old Michelle needs to replace all the money she's been stealing from her town's citizens. Not to give to them no, but to use on herself and her husband has no shot at successfully doing it on his own. She decided to put on her big girl pants & enter the games. She's also decided that she'll do anything for her money.

Nathan Cross

Nathan is 47 and kind hearted. His life revolves around his family and making other happy. He'll stand up for himself from time to time but he's usually quietly observing things go down. He doesn't know what his wife did to Lexy and is playing so that he can also replace the stolen money from town citizens. Unlike his wife he doesn't plan or taking it for himself. After the squid games he plans on going on a family trip with his daughters. He wants to believe he is dreaming when his wife is suddenly standing in front of him.
