"Hey, A! wait" D ran up to her, "Quick question... you seem like you wanna be friends with others a lot, why is that?"
M had wide eyes the moment he asked, mumbling a 'oh no' under her breath, R cocked his head to the left and realised what he was asking, he also hear M's mumble
which mad him let go of A, feeling pity and sadness for A.
A, had the smae shocked expression of M, but worse... It was like a wave of melancholy and nostalgia washed over her,
she still remembers that day,
"Why did you get a 16/20?! that's 80%!"
"I did my best! and it was a passing score"
"Your mother's right, you should've tried harder..."
back then, before exams and she tried her actual best she,
was praised,
"Outstanding! you really are like your parents!"
"You ever wanted to be a scientist?"
"Another medal! Congrats"
but really the comments were only small,
"you should've got gold... its fine! Atleast you got a place!"
now, it's just overwhelming,
she was once was just spoiled with love, now she holds on to whatever she gets,
that's why she is friendly, a people pleaser,
no matter how sarcastic the "wow" is, she keeps it, like a seashell
and she likes the smallest amount of attention as well, that was another thing out it.

Hot tears start halling from her cheeks, she cries softly,
the young boy immediately replies
"I-I'm so sorry! I didn't know! uh can you forvive me?!"
he says hands out.
"no! its fine! im sorry for being sad for once..." she says, smiling.
M knew what happened back then, she was one of the only people she told.
R tried to confort her, but glared at D back.
"Attention all cadets! lunch will be serving! please go back to your respective groups!"
they said goodbye to M, going back,
but. no one should hurt her.
