Samyra's POV:
I shut the door to my room and drop on the bed thinking about how I have lost the only friend I had. Arjun was right, Anmol is not a good person. I pick up my phone and call him without even realising it midnight now. By the time I decide to disconnect the call, Arjun has already picked it up.
"Hey, everything alright? You are calling this late?" He asks sleepily.
"Hi, I am sorry I didn't realise it was midnight. Go back to sleep."
"Myra, what is it? Why did you call?" He asks me calmly, seemingly much more awake now.
"Nothing, I just wanted to tell you, I miss you and I can't wait to see you tomorrow." Saying this, I disconnect the call, not wanting to worry him any further. A second later, my phone rings again and I look at it only to realise that Arjun is calling me back now. I take a deep breath before picking it up.
"Yes, Arjun?"
"What is it Myra? Tell me. I am sure there's something bothering you." He asks me as soon as I reply.
"No, no. I was just missing you badly, I just wish you were here right now, with me." I say.
"Don't worry, you are anyways coming back tomorrow and I will be there to pick you up." He says in a light tone.
"Yeah, I know. You sleep now, I am sorry to disturb you."
"You don't need to be sorry, wifey. Good night. Sleep tight and dream of me." He tells me and saying a final goodbye, we disconnect the call.
I am unable to sleep and am lost thinking about where I gave wrong indication to Anmol and what does it mean to our friendship and did he really try to do all that! I never expected this from him. Somewhere lost in the thought, I realise that someone is ringing the bell. I decide to let it be and the person will leave but seeing the unending knocks, I finally get up from the bed and open the door to reveal Anmol.
"Really, Anmol? I thought I said I don't wanna talk to you about it." Obviously I didn't open the entire gate and the chain lock was already there. I am not stupid to open entire gate for someone past midnight, especially with no peep hole in the doors.
"Open the door Samyra and let me in, I just want to talk."
"No, we will talk tomorrow morning. I don't wanna talk right now." Saying this, I close the door on his face. Anmol keeps knocking for sometime before the knocking ceases. I lay there in bed for sometime before the knocking starts again and I am so close to snapping but I decide to let the knocking be and try to sleep.
When it does not stop even after fifteen minutes, I decide to give Anmol a piece of mind.
"Anmol, get the hell out of here and go back to your room. Why are you even behaving like this? Can you not take a simple no for an answer?"
"Samyra, just talk to me once and I will leave, I promise."
"Whatever it is you wanna talk about, we can do it tomorrow morning. You are drunk and slurring your words, so go back to your room and sleep."
"Samyra, open this damn door!" He says pushing the door with all his might but nothing happens, thankfully. I decide to shut the door when I realise that Anmol has kept his hand in middle of the door.
"Anmol, remove your hand. Enough is enough."
"No, I won't."
"Anmol, I will close this door and you are definitely gonna get hurt."
"Just tell me the reason you don't wanna be my girlfriend."
"Ughhhh... I don't like you, isn't that enough?"
"No, it's not "
"Okay, I will tell you. I am married. I am married to Arjun Kapoor and hence, I cannot be your girlfriend. I am in a very much committed and happy relationship with someone else. Someone whom I actually like and may even be falling in love with." I say, just wanting him to be out of my hair.
"You are lying. You would have told me if you were married. And why would someone like Arjun Kapoor marry you? He would have said something if he was married and that too to you. You are just saying this to get me out of your hair."
"Think of it whatever you want to, I don't give a damn. Just get out and lemme be." I try removing his hand but he grabs mine and starts pulling me. I am basically getting slammed against the door due to his pulls, and this is definitely gonna leave a pain in my right shoulder. Damn him!
"Anmol, leave me. I am gonna shout out loud if you don't leave me this instance." I am anyways shouting but I am ready to shout louder if need be. This is getting out of hand real quick.
"Samyra, I really lo-" I hear his voice cut by a loud cracking noise and peep out to see Anmol lying on the ground, unconscious. I remove the chain from the door and open it wide to see my savior hunching over him. I decide to thank him. The day has been way too long already and all I now want is to go to Arjun. He was right, I shouldn't have come here, on this trip alone.
"Are you fine?" The guy, wearing the hotel uniform asked me.
"Yes, yes. Thank you so much!"
"That's fine. Do you know this guy?"
"Yeah, he is my classmate."
"Do you mind telling me his room number? I will throw him there and then you can go back to sleep."
"Yeah, sure. It's 508. Thank you so much!"
"Again, that's perfectly fine. Goodnight!"
I enter the room and go back to my bed. I realise what I confessed to Anmol, especially the part of maybe falling in love with Arjun. Am I really falling for him? Pondering over it, only is causing me headache, so I decide to think over it later on. I am almost in sleep or maybe in sleep, when another knock disturbs me. You know that stage when you think you cannot sleep but you are in that daze of sleep where you don't realise that you are too close to sleep.
Don't mind my mind's rambling!
Who can it be now? It can't be Anmol since he was knocked out unless he has regained his consciousness. Maybe it is the same staff who helped me? He might need to report this incident or something. Should I open the door or let it be? Ughhhh... Let's see who it is who does not like me getting my sleep!
Thinking this, I open the door only to come face-to-face with my freakishly handsome husband?
Wait! Am I still sleeping? I know I wanted him to be here but he cannot really be here, right? Can he be? This has to be a dream, right?

Hey guys!
Here's an early update. Hope you all will enjoy it. Also, just so you all know that I am not planning on keeping this a lengthy book, maybe 30-35 chapters at most unless I get another superb idea to add, in which case the number of chapters might increase. Anyways, do lemme know what you think of the chapter and don't forget to vote.I know it's a pretty short chapter but please bear with me.
Love you all:)
