things of the past can be hard to remember
gone and forgotten in blink of an eye
January first and the last of December
clocks keep on ticking with time flying by
no time is better than now the present
you cannot stop it so don't even try
keep in your heart what is nice and pleasant
moments are fleeting and waving goodbye
future is coming, it's near, it's here
time's running faster but no need to cry
if you remember the best from each year
memories shine like the stars in the sky
future, past and present
should be spent with lots of friends
oldest pals that no one ever will forget
fun that never ever ends
is the greatest present
and the time that's coming is the best one yet
