wonderland

close your eyes because you dream with eyes wide open. feel the breeze because you forget to breathe. grass on the field, moves you to a great town. you see me there, picking strawberries in our secret garden.

you ask, "what are you doing here?"

i giggle, "what do you mean, i live here."

you look silly and confused, but you're glad i am near. i take your hand, "look at our palace."

it's made of glass, reflecting colors from the sun. your steps chant a melody, makes me dancing on the way. the world is big, and it's just us, running along the hall, drinking tea in crystal cups. there are hundred rooms, we mark every spot; balcony, aisle, all over the castle.

it's never enough, we fly to the sky. bouncing on the clouds, wings against wind. you say you fear the height, you're afraid to fall. i tell you gravity doesn't bother those who are in love.

now look around you, it's your messy room again. i was never there, nor the wonderland.
