*8 in the morning*
[Jess's pov]
I woke up and looked out the window, such a beautiful day... I sat down on the bed, As I was looking at the beautiful morning sky I heard a voice saying
Tess : Good morning Jess!
I smiled and said "good morning"
She was looking at me with her arms crossed and leaning against the wall and then she said
Tess : did you had a nightmare?
I was kinda shocked about how she knew and asked
Jess : how did you know?
Tess : You were screaming "mom mom" in your sleep and I heard it! So it was obvious you had a nightmare
Jess : I see....
Tess : So! What happened to your mom?? Where is she?
Jess : Uhm.. nothing happened to her.
Tess : is that all you're gonna say!!? I want to know!! What was the nightmare about!?
Jess : I told you! You don't need to know about that!
*She grabbed my hand and started wiggling it and she keep asking questions... It was kinda annoying.. but after a while I told her everything from the start*
Jess : My dad is a alcoholic and.. he lost his job... My mom is the only one who works day and night to keep this family... I really want to help my mom.. so I am trying to find a house and a part time job for myself so i can live peacefully... Just me and my mom.
*Tess had a sad face while she was listening to me*
Tess : I am.. so sorry to hear that... I might be annoying but I can be a good friend to you.. and if you ever need help you can always come to me....*she pulled me in a hug*
I was about to cry but then someone knocks on the door
Tess's mom : come out! Breakfast is readyyy
I wipe my eyes and I go to wash my face before I eat because I just woke up.
Everyone came and sat in the dining room, as we were eating tess's mom says
Tess's mom : Darling why aren't you eating? Are you okay?
Jess : Ahh.. yes I am okay don't worry about me haha...
Tess's mom : Hmmm... By the way I heard about your mom and you from tess...
Jess : what? Ohh...
Tess's mom : You can stay with us Jess
Jess : wha- no- it will be a burden!
Tess's mom : No no no no dear don't say that! It won't be a burden please dear! Think about it! Our second floor is literally empty... No one lives there anyway
Tess's dad : your right, I know you will feel bad if you live for free so how about you rent the second floor? We will ask for a reasonable price so don't worry!
Jess : that's very nice of you thank you very much.. you all have been helping me a lot, I don't know how I will repay you. Thank you very much!
Tess : we will be housemates now!! Yay!!
Jess : hahaha yeah *laughs*
Tess's mom : there is one bathroom and one room, why don't you bring your mom today?
Jess : that's a great idea!
