-I found out why Izumi was acting weird. He had a date at the park with that girl, apparently she was called "Mellisa". I grimaced when he told me I had to go to the park in case anything went wrong. I wanted to run upstairs and hide in my room.
"Come on! I'll buy you an ice cream or something! I'll even take over all your shifts!" He pleaded with me, he shook my shoulders, he looked pretty desperate.
"Fine, I'll go. But you have to do all of my shifts until summer ends," I responded. He had this childlike glee in his eyes, he hugged me and said his thanks. I just kept on wishing he said that I didn't have to go.
As we all sat around the dining table, Izumi had his phone under the table, messaging this Melissa. I wanted to scream, but I only kicked him under the table. He winced and looked up.
"Kyoko, what have you been doing? Have you unpacked?" My mom asked me. I nodded.
"Izumi, have you?" Mom asked him, but this time she sounded angry? I don't know.
"I have, I just need to unpack my shoes," he said, eating some of the sushi. His mood changed completely after mom had talked to him, i wondered why.
After we finished eating dinner, Izumi went upstairs and I helped Haru organise his things. His room was decorated with trains and cars, he even had a Lego set of Lightning McQueen that he hadn't started. Organising Haru's things took forever, he had too many clothes and too many toys. I was exhausted after I helped him. I read him a bedtime story and went to bed myself.
I drew the curtains but left the balcony door open so I wouldn't get to warm. Tomorrow was the day I had to go to the park. I tried not to freak out, what if Mellisa was horrible? What if she didn't like me? What if she thought I was annoying? I stopped myself from over thinking it and told myself that it was stupid, and finally, I dozed off to sleep.

-I was awoken in the morning by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes groggily and stared at the figure above me. It was the lovesick boy I wanted to push off a cliff, Izumi.
"Hurry up!" He shouted, "it's twelve and we leave at one!" He exclaimed nervously.
"Stop being dramatic," I said, "and leave me alone so I can get dressed," I demeaned angrily.
