"This is perfect, Dream."

Dream only smiled, and George carefully noted every small movement and feeling; from Dream's fingertips sliding to the nape of his neck, to the way jade green eyes dropped down to look at his lips. And just like every other time Dream kissed him, George was completely consumed by the feeling of their lips meeting. It was eclipsing in the best way possible, completely extinguishing any doubt that might have lingered in the back of George's mind. He could only focus on one all consuming thought; how much he loved and craved the feeling of being Dream's.

George was brought back to reality as Dream pulled back into his own space, and he wasn't even aware he was pouting until Dream lightly tilted his face up and teasingly said, "don't worry, pretty boy. I plan on kissing you plenty of times tonight, you'll be sick of me by the end of the night."

George knew that wasn't possible, but he kept quiet as Dream slid their hands together and led George over to the cocoon of blankets and pillows he had created. He laid down, pulling George down with him. They settled in as Dream read off movie choices, and George smiled to himself when he noticed that the table was littered with all of the brunette's favorite snacks.

They eventually settled on a movie, but George was distracted, his head resting against Dream's chest but his face tilting up towards the blonde. His eyes slowly dragged over his sharp jawline and the scattering of freckles on his cheekbones and nose, but he felt his face flush with warmth when Dream's green eyes met his, a soft smile lifting the corners of his lips as he quietly asked, "do I have something on my face, George?"

George shook his head, embarrassment warming his face as he tried to bury it in the soft cotton of Dream's hoodie. But Dream's hands found his face, gentle in their movements as he tilted George's face back up towards his own. There was a confident grin on his face now, and his voice was low and teasing as he asked, "what are you thinking about?"

There were so many thoughts swirling around George's mind, and he wasn't sure which ones he could, or should, share with Dream. At the forefront was the idea that he was extremely lucky to be sitting here with the blonde, lucky that things had worked out the way that they had in the first place. It was insane to even think about, that one stupid idea hinging on a date with someone else could have led to all of this, but George was extremely grateful that it had.

"I'm just happy," George hummed quietly. There were plenty of unspoken words lingering beyond that statement, but there was truth in the simplicity of the few words he had chosen to speak aloud.

"Me too," Dream responded without missing a beat.

George could feel his smile grow larger, his eyes slowly tracing over the features of Dream's face. He knew Dream's face like the back of his own hand, but he had a newfound love for all the little details that were so comfortingly familiar to him. He was sure that he could look at him for hours at a time and still find new things to appreciate, but for the moment, he let his eyes settle on the subtle curve of Dream's lips as he quietly said, "I need you to teach me something else, Dream."

He saw Dream's lips pull upwards into a larger grin as he asked, "oh yeah? What is it?"

George rested a hand flat against Dream's chest, pushing himself up so that he could look down at the blonde properly. He remembered being nervous about asking Dream to teach him how to kiss, but he didn't feel nervous at all now. And that was due simply to the fact that Dream made him feel comfortable and safe.

He let his eyes trail slowly over Dream's face, his fingertips grazing softly over the skin as he pushed blonde waves out of emerald eyes and quietly asked, "how do you know when it's the right time to kiss someone?"

"You'll just know," Dream hummed back quietly, "but if you're talking about me, specifically, you can assume that every time is the right time."

George laughed under his breath, but the sound faded quickly as his eyes dropped to Dream's lips. Everything about the moment felt right, and he let his hand slide back into Dream's hair as he leaned down and softly connected their lips. Warmth bloomed in George's stomach as he felt large hands slide down to his waist, pulling him close as he softly bit Dream's lower lip. The blonde's lips parted, and he was patient as George gave himself time to explore every new part of him.

George moved slowly, enjoying every second of what was happening between them, his heart thudding hard against his chest as he finally pulled back with a smile. Dream's eyes met his, and he mirrored the brunette's smile as he quietly said, "I'd say that was pretty good timing, George."

"Thanks," George responded with a grin, "guess you're a pretty good teacher."

Dream exhaled a quiet laugh, and then he was wrapping George up in his arms and pulling the brunette down against his chest. George smiled as he listened to the comforting sound of Dream's heartbeat, letting his lashes flutter closed as he felt fingers slowly brushing through his hair.

When his eyes opened again, he exhaled a quick breath, summoning some courage as he quietly asked, "Dream, what are we?"

He felt Dream's fingers still for just a moment, but then they were moving again as Dream answered, "well, I know that the only person I want is you, George."

George smiled at this, angling his face up towards Dream as he said, "and the only person I want is you, Dream."

Dream smiled as his fingers slid back along George's jaw, his thumb grazing softly over his skin as he said, "then I guess that makes you my boyfriend."

George warmed at the words, smiling as he said, "that makes this my first actual relationship, then."

"Technically," Dream responded with a grin, "it's my first actual relationship as well."

George laughed, and his words were playful as he muttered, "how cute, you saved your first relationship for me."

Dream laughed, but then he was pulling George's face up towards his own and kissing him softly. When he pulled back, he quietly responded, "I was, actually. The only relationship I ever wanted was with you, pretty boy."
