I'm sixteen, and finally he allowed me to go out alone to get a few groceries "tch so many damn people so annoying" I got a few boxes of hair dye and other food "hmm I wonder if a 20 will cover all this...well one way to find out- HEY!" I bumped into someone

"Oh my god I am so sorry I didn't see you there!" I rubbed my head and picked up my things "ugh watch where your going asshole" "again I'm sorry please forgive me I'm such a clutz ya know" I looked up to see a blonde boy with a black lightning bolt on his left side of his hair and golden yellow eyes

I stood up, we were about the same height "uh huh" "is there anything I can do to make it up? I can pay for you if you want" I stared a bit 'wait if he pays I won't have to then we will have more money for later or I could take his wallet when he's not looking after ether way it's a win' "hello? Miss?" He waved his hand in front of me

"Oh uh yeah you can totally do that and I'll forgive you" I tried to smile but I think it would be obvious I'm not good at forced smiles but..."haha! Good I was hoping you'd say that let's go I'm Denki Kamimari by the way what's your name?" He didn't seem to mind nor care "uh..." 'shit I need a name and definitely not my real one cuz that's dangerous wait what's flower in Japanese again?' "hello miss-" "Sakura!" Shit I panicked

"Sakura?" I nod 'yeah totally my real name and not one I came up with five seconds ago' "I like it! It means flower right? It suits you" "suits...me..?" I put my things on the counter and he paid. We walked out after "bye Sakura sorry I can't stay long but I gotta go home to get ready for the entrance exams tomorrow" "entrance exam? What's that?" He stopped in his tracks and turned to me in shock

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS!?" I shook my head and he pulled out a paper from his pocket "it's how you get into the most popular and unfortunately expensive hero academy! I'm going there- well trying to" I looked at the paper then back at him "oh...well good luck I guess" "are you not gonna try and get in?" "Isn't too late too also don't you have somewhere to be?" He shook his head

"It's not hard to sign up! They close registration today at eight anyway so you have five hours to sign up" I put the paper in my pocket and nod "anyway hopefully I'll see you there Sakura!!! Bye!" He waved and ran off but not before I could pick his pocket and take his wallet "bye I guess" I went back home

When I walked in I put up the items I had gotten at the store just as dabi was getting out of the shower "hey satiri that was quick" "yeah well the city is crowded and busy this time of year best to avoid it" he hummed in agreement and stopped when he saw the flyer for UA

"What's this?" I looked at him and shook my head "someone ran into me while I was trying to checkout and they offered to pay for making me drop all my shit but they were awfully talkative somehow the topic came up and he said he was going to the entrance exam tomorrow and was taken aback when I said I didn't know what that was" he leaned on the counter still shirtless and smoking a cigarette

I took it from him and stole a few puffs "asshole" "jackass...I got more anyway so you'll live" I set aside the bag that had the cigarettes and went to cook dinner "so you wanting to go?" I stopped dropping the fork I had in my hand and turned to him with a disgusted look "remind me why the hell I would join those scumbags? They're nothing but power hungry fakes who just want money and fame right? Like I'd ever be a hero I'd rather be a sacrifice in an occult" I pulled my hair up and started cooking

He laughed a bit "the hells so funny?" "That's not the point...wanna take your first solo mission?"

I looked at him suspicious "what are you talking about now asshat?" He sat on the counter next to me reaching his finger in the food and pout when I smack his hand away "I hear allmight is gonna be a teacher there" "so?" "So...I had someone come up to me and offer us a shit ton of money to take him out-" "-from the inside?"

*CHOP*

"Yup and my face is everywhere...you? You'll be my little spy" "a UA traitor...I like it" I put the vegetables in the pot "we split it halfway as always?" "Yuup only this time we could get ourselves a good place out of the city maybe, the country side? It'd be nice" I smiled thinking about our many plans for finally making it out of society's glare and living a peaceful life like we intended "that would be nice" I put a few spices in the pot before letting it cook and walking away

I looked up at dabi and took his cigarette "registration ends today at eight you got less than three hours" "fine" I walked away finishing the cigarette then sitting on our old worn couch flipping on the T.V. with the remote in hand

I paused when I heard a slight clink come from the kitchen "Don't you fucking dare put more hot sauce than there already is Dabi!" I heard the clink again followed by his shout "IM NOOT........anymore" I roll my eyes before continuing flipping through the channels

A few minutes later he gets dressed and leaves to go sign me up while I finish dinner, by the time he got back it was nearly dark but he was in one piece and in time for dinner

"Dinners ready bubba" "good I'm gonna die of starvation!" "Stop whining already and sit your burnt ass down" we sat down at our slightly burnt and frosted table and ate "so...how did it go?" He looked up and grinned "exam starts at 7am tomorrow morning kiddo" I smiled devilishly at my brother who returned the same look "good"
